በአስራ ሀምስተኛው ዩቢሌ በሶስተኛው ሳምንት ላሜክ ቤታኖሽ የበራክኤልን ልጅ የአባቱ ወንድም ልጅ አገባ፤ በዚያ ሳምንት ለእርሱ ወንድ ልጅ ወለደች፤ ስሙንም ኖኅ ብሎ ሰየመው፤ እንዲህም አለ፦ ከሐዘኔ እና ከሥራዬ ሁሉ እንዲሁም እግዚአብሔር ካረገመው ከምድር ዕረፍት የሚሰጠኝ ይህ ነው።

During this week she gave birth to a son for him, and he named him Noah, explaining: '(He is one) who will give me consolation from my sadness, from all my work, and from the earth which the Lord cursed'.
