አዳምና ሚስቱ ስለ አቤል አራት ሳምንት ዓመታት አለቀሱ። ከዚያም በአምስተኛው ሳምንት በአራተኛው ዓመት ደስ አላቸው፤ አዳም እንደገና ከሚስቱ ጋር ተቀላቀለ፣ ለእርሱም ወንድ ልጅ ወለደች፤ ስሙንም ሴት ብሎ ሰየመው፤ እንዲህም አለ፦ እግዚአብሔር በምድር ላይ በአቤል ፋንታ ሌላ ዘር አስነሣልን፤ ቃይን አቤልን ገድሎታልና።
