በውሃ አይታለፍም፤ ጥሬም አይበሉትም፤ ነገር ግን ራሱን ከውስጡ አካላትና ከእግሮቹ ጋር በእሳት የተጠበ እንዲሆን ይጠብሱት፤ በእሳት ይጠብሱት። በእርሱ ውስጥ አንድም አጥንት አይቆረጥ፤ ምክንያቱም ከእስራኤል አጥንት ማንም አይቆረጥም።
