the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

Gen 46:11 : 11 And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Exod 2:22 : 22 And she bare a son, and he called his name Gershom; for he said, I have been a sojourner in a foreign land.
