Verse 23

So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of Jehovah, even the house of the tent, by wards.

1 Chr 23:32 : 32 and that they should keep the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, for the service of the house of Jehovah.
2 Chr 23:19 : 19 And he set the porters at the gates of the house of Jehovah, that none that was unclean in anything should enter in.
Neh 12:45 : 45 And they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
Ezek 44:10-11 : 10 But the Levites that went far from me, when Israel went astray, that went astray from me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. 11 Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house, and ministering in the house: they shall slay the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
Ezek 44:14 : 14 Yet will I make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
