Verse 17

If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

1 Sam 9:9 : 9 (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he said, Come, and let us go to the seer; for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
Ps 94:9 : 9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?
Ps 139:13-16 : 13 For thou didst form my inward parts: Thou didst cover me in my mother's womb. 14 I will give thanks unto thee; For I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My frame was not hidden from thee, When I was made in secret, [And] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, [Even] the days that were ordained [for me], When as yet there was none of them.
Prov 20:12 : 12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.
1 Cor 12:21 : 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1 Cor 12:29 : 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all [workers of] miracles?
