Verse 3

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?

Luke 8:14 : 14 And that which fell among the thorns, these are they that have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of [this] life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Luke 21:34 : 34 But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:
1 Cor 6:4 : 4 If then ye have to judge things pertaining to this life, do ye set them to judge who are of no account in the church?
Matt 25:41 : 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:
Jude 1:6 : 6 And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Ps 17:14 : 14 From men by thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, whose portion is in [this] life, And whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure: They are satisfied with children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
2 Tim 2:4 : 4 No soldier on service entangleth himself in the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
