hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1 Cor 3:16-17 : 16 Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.
1 Cor 6:19 : 19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;
Rom 8:9-9 : 9 But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. 1 Cor 2:12 : 12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.
Eph 2:20-22 : 20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; 21 in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord; 22 in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
