Verse 4

Then the children of Israel did put away the Baalim and the Ashtaroth, and served Jehovah only.

Judg 2:11 : 11 And the children of Israel did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served the Baalim;
Judg 2:13 : 13 And they forsook Jehovah, and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.
Judg 10:15-16 : 15 And the children of Israel said unto Jehovah, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day. 16 And they put away the foreign gods from among them, and served Jehovah; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
1 Kgs 11:33 : 33 because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of Moab, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon; and they have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and [to keep] my statutes and mine ordinances, as did David his father.
Hos 14:3 : 3 Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, [Ye are] our gods; for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
Hos 14:8 : 8 Ephraim [shall say], What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him: I am like a green fir-tree; from me is thy fruit found.
