Verse 2

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's [wife] .

Lev 21:7 : 7 They shall not take a woman that is a harlot, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
Lev 21:14 : 14 A widow, or one divorced, or a profane woman, a harlot, these shall he not take: but a virgin of his own people shall he take to wife.
Lev 22:13 : 13 But if a priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and be returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's bread: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
Num 30:9 : 9 But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, [even] everything wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand against her.
Ezek 44:22 : 22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that is the widow of a priest.
Matt 5:32 : 32 but I say unto you, that every one that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.
Mark 10:11 : 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her:
1 Cor 7:15 : 15 Yet if the unbelieving departeth, let him depart: the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such [cases] : but God hath called us in peace.
