Verse 1

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:

Eccl 3:17 : 17 I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
Eccl 8:5-6 : 5 Whoso keepeth the commandment shall know no evil thing; and a wise man's heart discerneth time and judgment: 6 for to every purpose there is a time and judgment; because the misery of man is great upon him:
2 Kgs 5:26 : 26 And he said unto him, Went not my heart [with thee], when the man turned from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards and vineyards, and sheep and oxen, and men-servants and maid-servants?
Eccl 2:3 : 3 I searched in my heart how to cheer my flesh with wine, my heart yet guiding [me] with wisdom, and how to lay hold on folly, till I might see what it was good for the sons of men that they should do under heaven all the days of their life.
2 Chr 33:12 : 12 And when he was in distress, he besought Jehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
Prov 15:23 : 23 A man hath joy in the answer of his mouth; And a word in due season, how good is it!
Matt 16:3 : 3 And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to-day: for the heaven is red and lowering. Ye know how to discern the face of the heaven; but ye cannot [discern] the signs of the times.
