Verse 31

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Isa 33:14 : 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath seized the godless ones: Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?
Matt 10:28 : 28 And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:5 : 5 But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Heb 12:29 : 29 for our God is a consuming fire.
Heb 10:27 : 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.
