by the lot of their inheritance, as Jehovah commanded by Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half-tribe.

Num 33:54 : 54 And ye shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer thou shalt give the less inheritance: wheresoever the lot falleth to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherit.
Num 34:13 : 13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
Num 26:55-56 : 55 Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. 56 According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.
Ps 16:5-6 : 5 Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Prov 16:33 : 33 The lot is cast into the lap; But the whole disposing thereof is of Jehovah.
Prov 18:18 : 18 The lot causeth contentions to cease, And parteth between the mighty.
Matt 25:34 : 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
