Verse 10

He is unto me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in secret places.

Job 10:16 : 16 And if [my head] exalt itself, thou huntest me as a lion; And again thou showest thyself marvellous upon me.
Ps 10:9 : 9 He lurketh in secret as a lion in his covert; He lieth in wait to catch the poor: He doth catch the poor, when he draweth him in his net.
Ps 17:12 : 12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, And as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Isa 38:13 : 13 I quieted [myself] until morning; as a lion, so he breaketh all my bones: From day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
Hos 5:14 : 14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.

Amos 5:18-20 : 18 Woe unto you that desire the day of Jehovah! Wherefore would ye have the day of Jehovah? It is darkness, and not light. 19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. 20 Shall not the day of Jehovah be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
