And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.

Deut 6:16 : 16 Ye shall not tempt Jehovah your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
Ps 95:9 : 9 When your fathers tempted me, Proved me, and saw my work.
Ps 106:14 : 14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.
Mal 3:15 : 15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are built up; yea, they tempt God, and escape.
Matt 4:7 : 7 Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.
1 Cor 10:9 : 9 Neither let us make trial of the Lord, as some of them made trial, and perished by the serpents.
