Verse 48

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to seize me?

1 Sam 24:14-15 : 14 After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea. 15 Jehovah therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thy hand.
1 Sam 26:18 : 18 And he said, Wherefore doth my lord pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in my hand?
Matt 26:55 : 55 In that hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a robber with swords and staves to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and ye took me not.
Luke 22:52-53 : 52 And Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, that were come against him, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves? 53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
