Verse 18

But he that received the one went away and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

Prov 18:9 : 9 He also that is slack in his work Is brother to him that is a destroyer.
Prov 26:13-16 : 13 The sluggard saith, There is a lion in the way; A lion is in the streets. 14 [ As] the door turneth upon its hinges, So doth the sluggard upon his bed. 15 The sluggard burieth his hand in the dish; It wearieth him to bring it again to his mouth. 16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit Than seven men that can render a reason.
Hag 1:2-4 : 2 Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, This people say, It is not the time [for us] to come, the time for Jehovah's house to be built. 3 Then came the word of Jehovah by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your ceiled houses, while this house lieth waste?
Mal 1:10 : 10 Oh that there were one among you that would shut the doors, that ye might not kindle [fire on] mine altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you, saith Jehovah of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
