Verse 60

and they found it not, though many false witnesses came. But afterward came two,

Deut 19:15 : 15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established.
Ps 27:12 : 12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty.
Ps 35:11 : 11 Unrighteous witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I know not.
Dan 6:4-5 : 4 Then the presidents and the satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion nor fault, forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Mark 14:57-59 : 57 And there stood up certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, 58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands. 59 And not even so did their witness agree together.
Titus 2:8 : 8 sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.
1 Pet 3:16 : 16 having a good conscience; that, wherein ye are spoken against, they may be put to shame who revile your good manner of life in Christ.
