Verse 8

Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matt 6:32 : 32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Ps 38:9 : 9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee.
Luke 12:30 : 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
Phil 4:6 : 6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
John 16:23-27 : 23 And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be made full. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in dark sayings: the hour cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father. 26 In that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.
Ps 69:17-19 : 17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; For I am in distress; answer me speedily. 18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: Ransom me because of mine enemies. 19 Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: Mine adversaries are all before thee.
