Verse 9

And those that died by the plague were twenty and four thousand.

1 Cor 10:8 : 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
Num 16:49-50 : 49 Now they that died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them that died about the matter of Korah. 50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tent of meeting: and the plague was stayed.
Num 25:4-5 : 4 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Take all the chiefs of the people, and hang them up unto Jehovah before the sun, that the fierce anger of Jehovah may turn away from Israel. 5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that have joined themselves unto Baal-peor.
Num 31:16 : 16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against Jehovah in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of Jehovah.
Deut 4:3-4 : 3 Your eyes have seen what Jehovah did because of Baal-peor; for all the men that followed Baal-peor, Jehovah thy God hath destroyed them from the midst of thee. 4 But ye that did cleave unto Jehovah your God are alive every one of you this day.
Num 14:37 : 37 even those men that did bring up an evil report of the land, died by the plague before Jehovah.
