When a wicked man dieth, [his] expectation shall perish; And the hope of iniquity perisheth.

Prov 10:28 : 28 The hope of the righteous [shall be] gladness; But the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
Job 8:13-14 : 13 So are the paths of all that forget God; And the hope of the godless man shall perish: 14 Whose confidence shall break in sunder, And whose trust is a spider's web.
Job 11:20 : 20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, And they shall have no way to flee; And their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.
