And Solomon{H8010} made affinity{H2859} with Pharaoh{H6547} king{H4428} of Egypt,{H4714} and took{H3947} Pharaoh's{H6547} daughter,{H1323} and brought{H935} her into the city{H5892} of David,{H1732} until he had made an end{H3615} of building{H1129} his own house,{H1004} and the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} and the wall{H2346} of Jerusalem{H3389} round about.{H5439}

and he covered{H5603} the house{H1004} with beams{H1356} and planks{H7713} of cedar.{H730} 10 And he built{H1129} the stories{H3326} against all the house,{H1004} each five{H2568} cubits{H520} high:{H6967} and they rested{H270} on the house{H1004} with timber{H6086} of cedar.{H730} 11 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to Solomon,{H8010} saying,{H559} 12 Concerning this house{H1004} which thou art building,{H1129} if thou wilt walk{H3212} in my statutes,{H2708} and execute{H6213} mine ordinances,{H4941} and keep{H8104} all my commandments{H4687} to walk{H3212} in them; then will I establish{H6965} my word{H1697} with thee, which I spake{H1696} unto David{H1732} thy father.{H1} 13 And I will dwell{H7931} among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} and will not forsake{H5800} my people{H5971} Israel.{H3478} 14 So Solomon{H8010} built{H1129} the house,{H1004} and finished{H3615} it. 15 And he built{H1129} the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} within{H1004} with boards{H6763} of cedar:{H730} from the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004} unto the walls{H7023} of the ceiling,{H5604} he covered{H6823} them on the inside{H1004} with wood;{H6086} and he covered{H6823} the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004} with boards{H6763} of fir.{H1265} 16 And he built{H1129} twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} on the hinder{H3411} part of the house{H1004} with{H4480} boards{H6763} of cedar{H730} from the floor{H7172} unto the walls{H7023} [of the ceiling]: he built{H1129} [them] for it within,{H1004} for an oracle,{H1687} even for the most{H6944} holy{H6944} place. 17 And the house,{H1004} that is, the temple{H1964} before{H3942} [the oracle], was forty{H705} cubits{H520} [long]. 18 And there was cedar{H730} on the house{H1004} within,{H6441} carved{H4734} with knops{H6497} and open{H6362} flowers:{H6731} all was cedar;{H730} there was no stone{H68} seen.{H7200} 19 And he prepared{H3559} an oracle{H1687} in{H8432} the midst of the house{H1004} within,{H6441} to set{H5414} there the ark{H727} of the covenant{H1285} of Jehovah.{H3068} 20 And within{H6440} the oracle{H1687} was [a space of] twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in length,{H753} and twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in breadth,{H7341} and twenty{H6242} cubits{H520} in the height{H6967} thereof; and he overlaid{H6823} it with pure{H5462} gold:{H2091} and he covered{H6823} the altar{H4196} with cedar.{H730} 21 So Solomon{H8010} overlaid{H6823} the house{H1004} within{H6441} with pure{H5462} gold:{H2091} and he drew{H5674} chains{H7572} of gold{H2091} across before{H6440} the oracle;{H1687} and he overlaid{H6823} it with gold.{H2091} 22 And the whole house{H1004} he overlaid{H6823} with gold,{H2091} until all the house{H1004} was finished:{H8552} also the whole altar{H4196} that belonged to the oracle{H1687} he overlaid{H6823} with gold.{H2091} 23 And in the oracle{H1687} he made{H6213} two{H8147} cherubim{H3742} of olive-wood,{H8081} {H6086} each ten{H6235} cubits{H520} high.{H6967} 24 And five{H2568} cubits{H520} was the one{H259} wing{H3671} of the cherub,{H3742} and five{H2568} cubits{H520} the other{H8145} wing{H3671} of the cherub:{H3742} from the uttermost part{H7098} of the one wing{H3671} unto the uttermost part{H7098} of the other{H3671} were ten{H6235} cubits.{H520} 25 And the other{H8145} cherub{H3742} was ten{H6235} cubits:{H520} both{H8147} the cherubim{H3742} were of one{H259} measure{H4060} and one{H259} form.{H7095} 26 The height{H6967} of the one{H259} cherub{H3742} was ten{H6235} cubits,{H520} and so was it of the other{H8145} cherub.{H3742} 27 And he set{H5414} the cherubim{H3742} within{H8432} the inner{H6442} house;{H1004} and the wings{H3671} of the cherubim{H3742} were stretched forth,{H6566} so that the wing{H3671} of the one{H259} touched{H5060} the one wall,{H7023} and the wing{H3671} of the other{H8145} cherub{H3742} touched{H5060} the other{H8145} wall;{H7023} and their wings{H3671} touched{H5060} one{H3671} another{H3671} in the midst{H8432} of the house.{H1004} 28 And he overlaid{H6823} the cherubim{H3742} with gold.{H2091} 29 And he carved{H7049} all the walls{H7023} of the house{H1004} round about{H4524} with carved{H6603} figures{H4734} of cherubim{H3742} and palm-trees{H8561} and open{H6362} flowers,{H6731} within{H6441} and without.{H2435} 30 And the floor{H7172} of the house{H1004} he overlaid{H6823} with gold,{H2091} within{H6441} and without.{H2435} 31 And for the entrance{H6607} of the oracle{H1687} he made{H6213} doors{H1817} of olive-wood:{H8081} {H6086} the lintel{H352} [and] door-posts{H4201} were a fifth part{H2549} [of the wall]. 32 So [he made] two{H8147} doors{H1817} of olive-wood;{H8081} {H6086} and he carved{H7049} upon them carvings{H4734} of cherubim{H3742} and palm-trees{H8561} and open{H6362} flowers,{H6731} and overlaid{H6823} them with gold;{H2091} and he spread{H7286} the gold{H2091} upon the cherubim,{H3742} and upon the palm-trees.{H8561} 33 So also made{H6213} he for the entrance{H6607} of the temple{H1964} door-posts{H4201} of olive-wood,{H8081} {H6086} out of a fourth part{H7243} [of the wall]; 34 and two{H8147} doors{H1817} of fir-wood:{H1265} {H6086} the two{H8147} leaves{H6763} of the one{H259} door{H1817} were folding,{H1550} and the two{H8147} leaves{H7050} of the other{H8145} door{H1817} were folding.{H1550} 35 And he carved{H7049} [thereon] cherubim{H3742} and palm-trees{H8561} and open{H6362} flowers;{H6731} and he overlaid{H6823} them with gold{H2091} fitted{H3474} upon the graven work.{H2707} 36 And he built{H1129} the inner{H6442} court{H2691} with three{H7969} courses{H2905} of hewn stone,{H1496} and a course{H2905} of cedar{H730} beams.{H3773} 37 In the fourth{H7243} year{H8141} was the foundation{H3245} of the house{H1004} of Jehovah{H3068} laid,{H3245} in the month{H3391} Ziv.{H2099} 38 And in the eleventh{H259} year,{H8141} in the month{H3391} Bul,{H945} which is the eighth{H8066} month,{H2320} was the house{H1004} finished{H3615} throughout all the parts{H1697} thereof, and according to all the fashion{H4941} of it. So was he seven{H7651} years{H8141} in building{H1129} it. 1 And Solomon{H8010} was building{H1129} his own house{H1004} thirteen{H7969} years,{H8141} and he finished{H3615} all his house.{H1004} 2 For he built{H1129} the house{H1004} of the forest{H3293} of Lebanon;{H3844} the length{H753} thereof was a hundred{H3967} cubits,{H520} and the breadth{H7341} thereof fifty{H2572} cubits,{H520} and the height{H6967} thereof thirty{H7970} cubits,{H520} upon four{H702} rows{H2905} of cedar{H730} pillars,{H5982} with cedar{H730} beams{H3773} upon the pillars.{H5982} 3 And it was covered{H5603} with cedar{H730} above{H4605} over the forty{H705} and five{H2568} beams,{H6763} that were upon the pillars;{H5982} fifteen{H6240} in a row.{H2905} 4 And there were beams{H8261} in three{H7969} rows,{H2905} and window{H4237} was over against window{H4237} in three{H7969} ranks.{H6471} 5 And all the doors{H6607} and posts{H4201} were made square{H7251} with beams:{H8260} and window{H4237} was over against{H4136} window{H4237} in three{H7969} ranks.{H6471} 6 And he made{H6213} the porch{H197} of pillars;{H5982} the length{H753} thereof was fifty{H2572} cubits,{H520} and the breadth{H7341} thereof thirty{H7970} cubits;{H520} and a porch{H197} before{H6440} them; and pillars{H5982} and a threshold before{H6440} them. 7 And he made{H6213} the porch{H197} of the throne{H3678} where he was to judge,{H8199} even the porch{H197} of judgment:{H4941} and it was covered{H5603} with cedar{H730} from floor{H7172} to floor.{H7172} 8 And his house{H1004} where he was to dwell,{H3427} the other{H312} court{H2691} within{H1004} the porch,{H197} was of the like work.{H4639} He{H8010} made{H6213} also a house{H1004} for Pharaoh's{H6547} daughter{H1323} (whom Solomon had taken{H3947} to wife), like unto this porch.{H197} 9 All these were of costly{H3368} stones,{H68} even of hewn stone,{H1496} according to measure,{H4060} sawed{H1641} with saws,{H4050} within{H1004} and without,{H2351} even from the foundation{H4527} unto the coping,{H2947} and so on the outside{H2351} unto the great{H1419} court.{H2691} 10 And the foundation{H3245} was of costly{H3368} stones,{H68} even great{H1419} stones,{H68} stones{H68} of ten{H6235} cubits,{H520} and stones{H68} of eight{H8083} cubits.{H520} 11 And above{H4605} were costly{H3368} stones,{H68} even hewn stone,{H1496} according to measure,{H4060} and cedar-wood.{H730} 12 And the great{H1419} court{H2691} round about{H5439} had three{H7969} courses{H2905} of hewn stone,{H1496} and a course{H2905} of cedar{H730} beams;{H3773} like as the inner{H6442} court{H2691} of the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} and the porch{H197} of the house.{H1004} 13 And king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} sent{H7971} and fetched{H3947} Hiram{H2438} out of Tyre.{H6865} 14 He was the son{H1121} of a widow{H802} of the tribe{H4294} of Naphtali,{H5321} and his father{H1} was a man{H376} of Tyre,{H6876} a worker{H2790} in brass;{H5178} and he was filled{H4390} with wisdom{H2451} and understanding{H8394} and skill,{H1847} to work{H6213} all works{H6213} in brass.{H5178} And he came{H935} to king{H4428} Solomon,{H8010} and wrought{H6213} all his work.{H4399} 15 For he fashioned{H6696} the two{H8147} pillars{H5982} of brass,{H5178} eighteen{H8083} cubits{H520} high{H6967} apiece:{H5982} and a line{H2339} of twelve{H8147} cubits{H520} compassed{H5437} either{H8145} of them about.{H5437}
1 Kgs 9:15-19 : 15 And this is the reason{H1697} of the levy{H4522} which king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} raised,{H5927} to build{H1129} the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} and his own house,{H1004} and Millo,{H4407} and the wall{H2346} of Jerusalem,{H3389} and Hazor,{H2674} and Megiddo,{H4023} and Gezer.{H1507} 16 Pharaoh{H6547} king{H4428} of Egypt{H4714} had gone up,{H5927} and taken{H3920} Gezer,{H1507} and burnt{H8313} it with fire,{H784} and slain{H2026} the Canaanites{H3669} that dwelt{H3427} in the city,{H5892} and given{H5414} it for a portion{H7964} unto his daughter,{H1323} Solomon's{H8010} wife.{H802} 17 And Solomon{H8010} built{H1129} Gezer,{H1507} and Beth-horon{H1032} the nether,{H8481} 18 and Baalath,{H1191} and Tamar{H8412} in the wilderness,{H4057} in the land,{H776} 19 and all the store -{H4543} cities{H5892} that Solomon{H8010} had, and the cities{H5892} for his chariots,{H7393} and the cities{H5892} for his horsemen,{H6571} and that{H2837} which Solomon{H8010} desired{H2836} to build{H1129} for his pleasure in Jerusalem,{H3389} and in Lebanon,{H3844} and in all the land{H776} of his dominion.{H4475}
1 Kgs 11:1 : 1 Now king{H4428} Solomon{H8010} loved{H157} many{H7227} foreign{H5237} women,{H802} together with the daughter{H1323} of Pharaoh,{H6547} women of the Moabites,{H4125} Ammonites,{H5984} Edomites,{H130} Sidonians,{H6722} and Hittites;{H2850}

2 Chr 2:1-4 : 1 Now Solomon{H8010} purposed{H559} to build{H1129} a house{H1004} for the name{H8034} of Jehovah,{H3068} and a house{H1004} for his kingdom.{H4438} 2 And Solomon{H8010} counted out{H5608} threescore and ten{H7657} thousand{H505} men{H376} to bear burdens,{H5449} and fourscore{H8084} thousand{H505} men that were hewers{H2672} in the mountains,{H2022} and three{H7969} thousand{H505} and six{H8337} hundred{H3967} to oversee{H5329} them. 3 And Solomon{H8010} sent{H7971} to Huram{H2361} the king{H4428} of Tyre,{H6865} saying,{H559} As thou didst deal{H6213} with David{H1732} my father,{H1} and didst send{H7971} him cedars{H730} to build{H1129} him a house{H1004} to dwell{H3427} therein, [even so deal with me]. 4 Behold, I am about to build{H1129} a house{H1004} for the name{H8034} of Jehovah{H3068} my God,{H430} to dedicate{H6942} it to him, and to burn{H6999} before{H6440} him incense{H7004} of sweet{H5561} spices, and for the continual{H8548} showbread,{H4635} and for the burnt-offerings{H5930} morning{H1242} and evening,{H6153} on the sabbaths,{H7676} and on the new moons,{H2320} and on the set feasts{H4150} of Jehovah{H3068} our God.{H430} This is [an ordinance] for ever{H5769} to Israel.{H3478}
2 Chr 8:11 : 11 And Solomon{H8010} brought up{H5927} the daughter{H1323} of Pharaoh{H6547} out of the city{H5892} of David{H1732} unto the house{H1004} that he had built{H1129} for her; for he said,{H559} My wife{H802} shall not dwell{H3427} in the house{H1004} of David{H1732} king{H4428} of Israel,{H3478} because the places are holy,{H6944} whereunto the ark{H727} of Jehovah{H3068} hath come.{H935}
