Jer 38:14-28 : 14 Then Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} sent,{H7971} and took{H3947} Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet{H5030} unto him into the third{H7992} entry{H3996} that is in the house{H1004} of Jehovah:{H3068} and the king{H4428} said{H559} unto Jeremiah,{H3414} I will ask{H7592} thee a thing;{H1697} hide{H3582} nothing from me. 15 Then Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559} unto Zedekiah,{H6667} If I declare{H5046} it unto thee, wilt thou not surely{H4191} put me to death?{H4191} and if I give thee counsel,{H3289} thou wilt not hearken{H8085} unto me. 16 So Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} sware{H7650} secretly{H5643} unto Jeremiah,{H3414} saying,{H559} As Jehovah{H3068} liveth,{H2416} that made{H6213} us this soul,{H5315} I will not put thee to death,{H4191} neither will I give{H5414} thee into the hand{H3027} of these men{H582} that seek{H1245} thy life.{H5315} 17 Then said{H559} Jeremiah{H3414} unto Zedekiah,{H6667} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel:{H3478} If thou wilt{H3318} go forth{H3318} unto the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes,{H8269} then thy soul{H5315} shall live,{H2421} and this city{H5892} shall not be burned{H8313} with fire;{H784} and thou shalt live,{H2421} and thy house.{H1004} 18 But if thou wilt not go forth{H3318} to the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes,{H8269} then shall this city{H5892} be given{H5414} into the hand{H3027} of the Chaldeans,{H3778} and they shall burn{H8313} it with fire,{H784} and thou shalt not escape out{H4422} of their hand.{H3027} 19 And Zedekiah{H6667} the king{H4428} said{H559} unto Jeremiah,{H3414} I am afraid{H1672} of the Jews{H3064} that are fallen{H5307} away to the Chaldeans,{H3778} lest they deliver{H5414} me into their hand,{H3027} and they mock{H5953} me. 20 But Jeremiah{H3414} said,{H559} They shall not deliver{H5414} thee. Obey,{H8085} I beseech thee, the voice{H6963} of Jehovah,{H3068} in that which I speak{H1696} unto thee: so it shall be well{H3190} with thee, and thy soul{H5315} shall live.{H2421} 21 But if thou refuse{H3986} to go forth,{H3318} this is the word{H1697} that Jehovah{H3068} hath showed{H7200} me: 22 behold, all the women{H802} that are left{H7604} in the king{H4428} of Judah's{H3063} house{H1004} shall be brought forth{H3318} to the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} princes,{H8269} and those women shall say,{H559} Thy familiar friends{H582} have set thee on,{H5496} and have prevailed{H3201} over thee: [now that] thy feet{H7272} are sunk{H2883} in the mire,{H1206} they are turned away{H5472} back.{H268} 23 And they shall bring out{H3318} all thy wives{H802} and thy children{H1121} to the Chaldeans;{H3778} and thou shalt not escape out{H4422} of their hand,{H3027} but shalt be taken{H8610} by the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon:{H894} and thou shalt cause this city{H5892} to be burned{H8313} with fire.{H784} 24 Then said{H559} Zedekiah{H6667} unto Jeremiah,{H3414} Let no man{H376} know{H3045} of these words,{H1697} and thou shalt not die.{H4191} 25 But if the princes{H8269} hear{H8085} that I have talked{H1696} with thee, and they come{H935} unto thee, and say{H559} unto thee, Declare{H5046} unto us now what thou hast said{H1696} unto the king;{H4428} hide{H3582} it not from us, and we will not put thee to death;{H4191} also what the king{H4428} said{H1696} unto thee: 26 then thou shalt say{H559} unto them, I presented{H5307} my supplication{H8467} before{H6440} the king,{H4428} that he would not cause me to return{H7725} to Jonathan's{H3083} house,{H1004} to die{H4191} there. 27 Then came{H935} all the princes{H8269} unto Jeremiah,{H3414} and asked{H7592} him; and he told{H5046} them according to all these words{H1697} that the king{H4428} had commanded.{H6680} So they left off speaking{H2790} with him; for the matter{H1697} was not perceived.{H8085} 28 So Jeremiah{H3414} abode{H3427} in the court{H2691} of the guard{H4307} until the day{H3117} that Jerusalem{H3389} was taken.{H3920}

Jer 27:12-28:17 : 12 And I spake{H1696} to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} according to all these words,{H1697} saying,{H559} Bring{H935} your necks{H6677} under the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon,{H894} and serve{H5647} him and his people,{H5971} and live.{H2421} 13 Why will ye die,{H4191} thou and thy people,{H5971} by the sword,{H2719} by the famine,{H7458} and by the pestilence,{H1698} as Jehovah{H3068} hath spoken{H1696} concerning the nation{H1471} that will not serve{H5647} the king{H4428} of Babylon?{H894} 14 And hearken{H8085} not unto the words{H1697} of the prophets{H5030} that speak{H559} unto you, saying,{H559} Ye shall not serve{H5647} the king{H4428} of Babylon;{H894} for they prophesy{H5012} a lie{H8267} unto you. 15 For I have not sent{H7971} them, saith{H5002} Jehovah,{H3068} but they prophesy{H5012} falsely{H8267} in my name;{H8034} that I may drive you out,{H5080} and that ye may perish,{H6} ye, and the prophets{H5030} that prophesy{H5012} unto you. 16 Also I spake{H1696} to the priests{H3548} and to all this people,{H5971} saying,{H559} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} Hearken{H8085} not to the words{H1697} of your prophets{H5030} that prophesy{H5012} unto you, saying,{H559} Behold, the vessels{H3627} of Jehovah's{H3068} house{H1004} shall now shortly{H4120} be brought again{H7725} from Babylon;{H894} for they prophesy{H5012} a lie{H8267} unto you. 17 Hearken{H8085} not unto them; serve{H5647} the king{H4428} of Babylon,{H894} and live:{H2421} wherefore should this city{H5892} become a desolation?{H2723} 18 But if they be prophets,{H5030} and if the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} be{H3426} with them, let them now make intercession{H6293} to Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} that the vessels{H3627} which are left{H3498} in the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} and in the house{H1004} of the king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} and at Jerusalem,{H3389} go{H935} not to Babylon.{H894} 19 For thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts{H6635} concerning the pillars,{H5982} and concerning the sea,{H3220} and concerning the bases,{H4350} and concerning the residue{H3499} of the vessels{H3627} that are left{H3498} in this city,{H5892} 20 which Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} took{H3947} not, when he carried away captive{H1540} Jeconiah{H3204} the son{H1121} of Jehoiakim,{H3079} king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} from Jerusalem{H3389} to Babylon,{H894} and all the nobles{H2715} of Judah{H3063} and Jerusalem;{H3389} 21 yea, thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel,{H3478} concerning the vessels{H3627} that are left{H3498} in the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} and in the house{H1004} of the king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} and at Jerusalem:{H3389} 22 They shall be carried{H935} to Babylon,{H894} and there shall they be, until the day{H3117} that I visit{H6485} them, saith{H5002} Jehovah;{H3068} then will I bring{H5927} them up, and restore{H7725} them to this place.{H4725} 1 And it came to pass the same year,{H8141} in the beginning{H7225} of the reign{H4467} of Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} in the fourth{H7243} year,{H8141} in the fifth{H2549} month,{H2320} that Hananiah{H2608} the son{H1121} of Azzur,{H5809} the prophet,{H5030} who was of Gibeon,{H1391} spake{H559} unto me in the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} in the presence{H5869} of the priests{H3548} and of all the people,{H5971} saying,{H559} 2 Thus speaketh{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel,{H3478} saying,{H559} I have broken{H7665} the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon.{H894} 3 Within two full{H3117} years{H8141} will I bring again{H7725} into this place{H4725} all the vessels{H3627} of Jehovah's{H3068} house,{H1004} that Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} took away{H3947} from this place,{H4725} and carried{H935} to Babylon:{H894} 4 and I will bring again{H7725} to this place{H4725} Jeconiah{H3204} the son{H1121} of Jehoiakim,{H3079} king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} with all the captives{H1546} of Judah,{H3063} that went{H935} to Babylon,{H894} saith{H5002} Jehovah;{H3068} for I will break{H7665} the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon.{H894} 5 Then the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} said{H559} unto the prophet{H5030} Hananiah{H2608} in the presence{H5869} of the priests,{H3548} and in the presence{H5869} of all the people{H5971} that stood{H5975} in the house{H1004} of Jehovah,{H3068} 6 even the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} said,{H559} Amen:{H543} Jehovah{H3068} do{H6213} so; Jehovah{H3068} perform{H6965} thy words{H1697} which thou hast prophesied,{H5012} to bring again{H7725} the vessels{H3627} of Jehovah's{H3068} house,{H1004} and all them of the captivity,{H1473} from Babylon{H894} unto this place.{H4725} 7 Nevertheless hear{H8085} thou now this word{H1697} that I speak{H1696} in thine ears,{H241} and in the ears{H241} of all the people:{H5971} 8 The prophets{H5030} that have been before{H6440} me and before{H6440} thee of old{H5769} prophesied{H5012} against many{H7227} countries,{H776} and against great{H1419} kingdoms,{H4467} of war,{H4421} and of evil,{H7451} and of pestilence.{H1698} 9 The prophet{H5030} that prophesieth{H5012} of peace,{H7965} when the word{H1697} of the prophet{H5030} shall come to pass,{H935} then{H227} shall the prophet{H5030} be known,{H3045} that Jehovah{H3068} hath truly{H571} sent{H7971} him. 10 Then Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} took{H3947} the bar{H4133} from off the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah's{H3414} neck,{H6677} and brake{H7665} it. 11 And Hananiah{H2608} spake{H559} in the presence{H5869} of all the people,{H5971} saying,{H559} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} Even so will I break{H7665} the yoke{H5923} of Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} within two full{H3117} years{H8141} from off the neck{H6677} of all the nations.{H1471} And the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} went{H3212} his way.{H1870} 12 Then the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto Jeremiah,{H3414} after{H310} that Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} had broken{H7665} the bar{H4133} from off the neck{H6677} of the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah,{H3414} saying,{H559} 13 Go,{H1980} and tell{H559} Hananiah,{H2608} saying,{H559} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} Thou hast broken{H7665} the bars{H4133} of wood;{H6086} but thou hast made{H6213} in their stead bars{H4133} of iron.{H1270} 14 For thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel:{H3478} I have put{H5414} a yoke{H5923} of iron{H1270} upon the neck{H6677} of all these nations,{H1471} that they may serve{H5647} Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon;{H894} and they shall serve{H5647} him: and I have given{H5414} him the beasts{H2416} of the field{H7704} also. 15 Then said{H559} the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} unto Hananiah{H2608} the prophet,{H5030} Hear{H8085} now, Hananiah:{H2608} Jehovah{H3068} hath not sent{H7971} thee; but thou makest this people{H5971} to trust{H982} in a lie.{H8267} 16 Therefore thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} Behold, I will send{H7971} thee away from off the face{H6440} of the earth:{H127} this year{H8141} thou shalt die,{H4191} because thou hast spoken{H1696} rebellion{H5627} against Jehovah.{H3068} 17 So Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} died{H4191} the same year{H8141} in the seventh{H7637} month.{H2320}
Jer 34:2-9 : 2 Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of Israel,{H3478} Go,{H1980} and speak{H559} to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} and tell{H559} him, Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} Behold, I will give{H5414} this city{H5892} into the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon,{H894} and he shall burn{H8313} it with fire:{H784} 3 and thou shalt not escape out{H4422} of his hand,{H3027} but shalt surely{H8610} be taken,{H8610} and delivered{H5414} into his hand;{H3027} and thine eyes{H5869} shall behold{H7200} the eyes{H5869} of the king{H4428} of Babylon,{H894} and he shall speak{H1696} with thee mouth{H6310} to mouth,{H6310} and thou shalt go{H935} to Babylon.{H894} 4 Yet hear{H8085} the word{H1697} of Jehovah,{H3068} O Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah:{H3063} thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} concerning thee, Thou shalt not die{H4191} by the sword;{H2719} 5 thou shalt die{H4191} in peace;{H7965} and with the burnings{H4955} of thy fathers,{H1} the former{H7223} kings{H4428} that were before{H6440} thee, so shall they make a burning{H8313} for thee; and they shall lament{H5594} thee, [saying], Ah{H1945} Lord!{H113} for I have spoken{H1696} the word,{H1697} saith{H5002} Jehovah.{H3068} 6 Then Jeremiah{H3414} the prophet{H5030} spake{H1696} all these words{H1697} unto Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} in Jerusalem,{H3389} 7 when the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} army{H2428} was fighting{H3898} against Jerusalem,{H3389} and against all the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063} that were left,{H3498} against Lachish{H3923} and against Azekah;{H5825} for these [alone] remained{H7604} of the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063} [as] fortified{H4013} cities.{H5892} 8 The word{H1697} that came unto Jeremiah{H3414} from Jehovah,{H3068} after{H310} that the king{H4428} Zedekiah{H6667} had made{H3772} a covenant{H1285} with all the people{H5971} that were at Jerusalem,{H3389} to proclaim{H7121} liberty{H1865} unto them; 9 that every man{H376} should let his man-servant,{H5650} and every man{H376} his maid-servant,{H8198} that is a Hebrew{H5680} or a Hebrewess,{H5680} go{H7971} free;{H2670} that none should make bondmen{H5647} of them, [to wit], of a Jew{H3064} his brother.{H251} 10 And all the princes{H8269} and all the people{H5971} obeyed, that had entered{H935} into the covenant,{H1285} that every one{H376} should let his man-servant,{H5650} and every one{H376} his maid-servant,{H8198} go{H7971} free,{H2670} that none should make bondmen{H5647} of them any more; they obeyed,{H8085} and let them go:{H7971} 11 but afterwards{H310} they turned,{H7725} and caused the servants{H5650} and the handmaids,{H8198} whom they had let go{H7971} free,{H2670} to return,{H7725} and brought them into subjection{H3533} for servants{H5650} and for handmaids.{H8198} 12 Therefore the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to Jeremiah{H3414} from Jehovah,{H3068} saying,{H559} 13 Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of Israel:{H3478} I made{H3772} a covenant{H1285} with your fathers{H1} in the day{H3117} that I brought them forth{H3318} out of the land{H776} of Egypt,{H4714} out of the house{H1004} of bondage,{H5650} saying,{H559} 14 At the end{H7093} of seven{H7651} years{H8141} ye shall let go{H7971} every man{H376} his brother{H251} that is a Hebrew,{H5680} that hath been sold{H4376} unto thee, and hath served{H5647} thee six{H8337} years,{H8141} thou shalt let him go{H7971} free{H2670} from thee: but your fathers{H1} hearkened{H8085} not unto me, neither inclined{H5186} their ear.{H241} 15 And ye were now{H3117} turned,{H7725} and had done{H6213} that which is right{H3477} in mine eyes,{H5869} in proclaiming{H7121} liberty{H1865} every man{H376} to his neighbor;{H7453} and ye had made{H3772} a covenant{H1285} before{H6440} me in the house{H1004} which is called{H7121} by my name:{H8034} 16 but ye turned{H7725} and profaned{H2490} my name,{H8034} and caused every man{H376} his servant,{H5650} and every man{H376} his handmaid,{H8198} whom ye had let{H7971} go free{H2670} at their pleasure,{H5315} to return;{H7725} and ye brought them into subjection,{H3533} to be unto you for servants{H5650} and for handmaids.{H8198} 17 Therefore thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} ye have not hearkened{H8085} unto me, to proclaim{H7121} liberty,{H1865} every man{H376} to his brother,{H251} and every man{H376} to his neighbor:{H7453} behold, I proclaim{H7121} unto you a liberty,{H1865} saith{H5002} Jehovah,{H3068} to the sword,{H2719} to the pestilence,{H1698} and to the famine;{H7458} and I will make{H5414} you to be tossed{H2189} to and fro among all the kingdoms{H4467} of the earth.{H776} 18 And I will give{H5414} the men{H582} that have transgressed{H5674} my covenant,{H1285} that have not performed{H6965} the words{H1697} of the covenant{H1285} which they made{H3772} before{H6440} me, when they cut{H3772} the calf{H5695} in twain{H8147} and passed{H5674} between the parts{H1335} thereof; 19 the princes{H8269} of Judah,{H3063} and the princes{H8269} of Jerusalem,{H3389} the eunuchs,{H5631} and the priests,{H3548} and all the people{H5971} of the land,{H776} that passed{H5674} between the parts{H1335} of the calf;{H5695} 20 I will even give{H5414} them into the hand{H3027} of their enemies,{H341} and into the hand{H3027} of them that seek{H1245} their life;{H5315} and their dead bodies{H5038} shall be for food{H3978} unto the birds{H5775} of the heavens,{H8064} and to the beasts{H929} of the earth.{H776} 21 And Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} and his princes{H8269} will I give{H5414} into the hand{H3027} of their enemies,{H341} and into the hand{H3027} of them that seek{H1245} their life,{H5315} and into the hand{H3027} of the king{H4428} of Babylon's{H894} army,{H2428} that are gone away{H5927} from you. 22 Behold, I will command,{H6680} saith{H5002} Jehovah,{H3068} and cause them to return{H7725} to this city;{H5892} and they shall fight{H3898} against it, and take{H3920} it, and burn{H8313} it with fire:{H784} and I will make{H5414} the cities{H5892} of Judah{H3063} a desolation,{H8077} without inhabitant.{H3427}
Exod 10:3 : 3 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} went in{H935} unto Pharaoh,{H6547} and said{H559} unto him, Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of the Hebrews,{H5680} How long{H4970} wilt thou refuse{H3985} to humble{H6031} thyself before{H6440} me? let my people{H5971} go,{H7971} that they may serve{H5647} me.
2 Chr 32:26 : 26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah{H3169} humbled{H3665} himself for the pride{H1363} of his heart,{H3820} both he and the inhabitants{H3427} of Jerusalem,{H3389} so that the wrath{H7110} of Jehovah{H3068} came{H935} not upon them in the days{H3117} of Hezekiah.{H3169}
