And he said{H559} unto me, Son{H1121} of man,{H120} I send{H7971} thee to the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} to nations{H1471} that are rebellious,{H4775} which have rebelled{H4775} against me: they and their fathers{H1} have transgressed{H6586} against me even unto this very{H6106} day.{H3117}

37 therefore behold, I will gather{H6908} all thy lovers,{H157} with whom thou hast taken pleasure,{H6149} and all them that thou hast loved,{H157} with all them that thou hast hated;{H8130} I will even gather{H6908} them against thee on every side,{H5439} and will uncover{H1540} thy nakedness{H6172} unto them, that they may see{H7200} all thy nakedness.{H6172} 38 And I will judge{H8199} thee, as women that break wedlock{H5003} and shed{H8210} blood{H1818} are judged;{H4941} and I will bring{H5414} upon thee the blood{H1818} of wrath{H2534} and jealousy.{H7068} 39 I will also give{H5414} thee into their hand,{H3027} and they shall throw down{H2040} thy vaulted place,{H1354} and break down{H5422} thy lofty places;{H7413} and they shall strip{H6584} thee of thy clothes,{H899} and take{H3947} thy fair{H8597} jewels;{H3627} and they shall leave{H3240} thee naked{H5903} and bare.{H6181} 40 They shall also bring up{H5927} a company{H6951} against thee, and they shall stone{H7275} thee with stones,{H68} and thrust thee through{H1333} with their swords.{H2719} 41 And they shall burn{H8313} thy houses{H1004} with fire,{H784} and execute{H6213} judgments{H8201} upon thee in the sight{H5869} of many{H7227} women;{H802} and I will cause thee to cease{H7673} from playing the harlot,{H2181} and thou shalt also give{H5414} no hire{H868} any more. 42 So will I cause my wrath{H2534} toward thee to rest,{H5117} and my jealousy{H7068} shall depart{H5493} from thee, and I will be quiet,{H8252} and will be no more angry.{H3707} 43 Because thou hast not remembered{H2142} the days{H3117} of thy youth,{H5271} but hast raged{H7264} against me in all these things; therefore, behold,{H1887} I also will bring{H5414} thy way{H1870} upon thy head,{H7218} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} and thou shalt not commit{H6213} this lewdness{H2154} with all thine abominations.{H8441} 44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs{H4911} shall use [this] proverb{H4911} against thee, saying,{H559} As is the mother,{H517} so is her daughter.{H1323} 45 Thou art the daughter{H1323} of thy mother,{H517} that loatheth{H1602} her husband{H376} and her children;{H1121} and thou art the sister{H269} of thy sisters,{H269} who loathed{H1602} their husbands{H582} and their children:{H1121} your mother{H517} was a Hittite,{H2850} and your father{H1} an Amorite.{H567} 46 And thine elder{H1419} sister{H269} is Samaria,{H8111} that dwelleth{H3427} at thy left hand,{H8040} she and her daughters;{H1323} and thy younger{H6996} sister,{H269} that dwelleth{H3427} at thy right hand,{H3225} is Sodom{H5467} and her daughters.{H1323} 47 Yet hast thou not walked{H1980} in their ways,{H1870} nor done{H6213} after their abominations;{H8441} but, as [if that were] a very{H6985} little{H4592} [thing], thou wast more corrupt{H7843} than they{H2004} in all thy ways.{H1870} 48 As I live,{H2416} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} Sodom{H5467} thy sister{H269} hath not done,{H6213} she nor her daughters,{H1323} as thou hast done,{H6213} thou and thy daughters.{H1323} 49 Behold, this was the iniquity{H5771} of thy sister{H269} Sodom:{H5467} pride,{H1347} fulness{H7653} of bread,{H3899} and prosperous{H7962} ease{H8252} was in her and in her daughters;{H1323} neither did she strengthen{H2388} the hand{H3027} of the poor{H6041} and needy.{H34} 50 And they were haughty,{H1361} and committed{H6213} abomination{H8441} before{H6440} me: therefore I took them away{H5493} as I saw{H7200} [good]. 51 Neither hath Samaria{H8111} committed{H2398} half{H2677} of thy sins;{H2403} but thou hast multiplied{H7235} thine abominations{H8441} more than they,{H2007} and hast justified{H6663} thy sisters{H269} by all thine abominations{H8441} which thou hast done.{H6213} 52 Thou also, bear{H5375} thou thine own shame,{H3639} in that thou hast given judgment{H6419} for thy sisters;{H269} through thy sins{H2403} that thou hast committed more abominable{H8581} than they,{H2004} they are more righteous{H6663} that thou: yea, be thou also confounded,{H954} and bear{H5375} thy shame,{H3639} in that thou hast justified{H6663} thy sisters.{H269} 53 And I will turn again{H7725} their captivity,{H7622} the captivity{H7622} of Sodom{H5467} and her daughters,{H1323} and the captivity{H7622} of Samaria{H8111} and her daughters,{H1323} and the captivity{H7622} of thy captives{H7622} in the midst{H8432} of them; Ezek 20:1-9 : 1 And it came to pass in the seventh{H7637} year,{H8141} in the fifth{H2549} [month], the tenth{H6218} [day] of the month,{H2320} that certain{H582} of the elders{H2205} of Israel{H3478} came{H935} to inquire{H1875} of Jehovah,{H3068} and sat{H3427} before{H6440} me. 2 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559} 3 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} speak{H1696} unto the elders{H2205} of Israel,{H3478} and say{H559} unto them, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} Is it to inquire{H1875} of me that ye are come?{H935} As I live,{H2416} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} I will not be inquired{H1875} of by you. 4 Wilt thou judge{H8199} them, son{H1121} of man,{H120} wilt thou judge{H8199} them? they walked{H1980} not in my statutes,{H2708} neither kept{H8104} mine ordinances{H4941} to do{H6213} them, which if a man{H120} do,{H6213} he shall live{H2425} in them; they profaned{H2490} my sabbaths.{H7676} Then I said{H559} I would pour out{H8210} my wrath{H2534} upon them, to accomplish{H3615} my anger{H639} against them in the wilderness.{H4057} 22 Nevertheless I withdrew{H7725} my hand,{H3027} and wrought{H6213} for my name's{H8034} sake, that it should not be profaned{H2490} in the sight{H5869} of the nations,{H1471} in whose sight{H5869} I brought them forth.{H3318} 23 Moreover I sware{H3027} unto{H5375} them in the wilderness,{H4057} that I would scatter{H6327} them among the nations,{H1471} and disperse{H2219} them through the countries;{H776} 24 because they had not executed{H6213} mine ordinances,{H4941} but had rejected{H3988} my statutes,{H2708} and had profaned{H2490} my sabbaths,{H7676} and their eyes{H5869} were after{H310} their fathers'{H1} idols.{H1544} 25 Moreover also I gave{H5414} them statutes{H2706} that were not good,{H2896} and ordinances{H4941} wherein they should not live;{H2421} 26 and I polluted{H2930} them in their own gifts,{H4979} in that they caused to pass through{H5674} [the fire] all that openeth{H6363} the womb,{H7356} that I might make them desolate,{H8074} to the end that they might know{H3045} that I am Jehovah.{H3068} 27 Therefore, son{H1121} of man,{H120} speak{H1696} unto the house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} and say{H559} unto them, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} In this moreover have your fathers{H1} blasphemed{H1442} me, in that they have committed{H4603} a trespass{H4604} against me. 28 For when I had brought{H935} them into the land,{H776} which I sware{H3027} to{H5375} give{H5414} unto them, then they saw{H7200} every high{H7311} hill,{H1389} and every thick{H5687} tree,{H6086} and they offered{H2076} there their sacrifices,{H2077} and there they presented{H5414} the provocation{H3708} of their offering;{H2076} there also they made{H7760} their sweet{H5207} savor,{H7381} and they poured out{H5258} there their drink-offerings.{H5262} 29 Then I said{H559} unto them, What meaneth the high place{H1116} whereunto ye go?{H935} So the name{H8034} thereof is called{H7121} Bamah{H1117} unto this day.{H3117} 30 Wherefore say{H559} unto the house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} Do ye pollute{H2930} yourselves after the manner{H1870} of your fathers?{H1} and play ye the harlot{H2181} after{H310} their abominations?{H8251} 31 and when ye offer{H5375} your gifts,{H4979} when ye make your sons{H1121} to pass through{H5674} the fire,{H784} do ye pollute{H2930} yourselves with all your idols{H1544} unto this day?{H3117} and shall I be inquired{H1875} of by you, O house{H1004} of Israel?{H3478} As I live,{H2416} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} I will not be inquired{H1875} of by you; 32 and that which cometh{H5927} into your mind{H7307} shall not be at all, in that ye say,{H559} We will be{H1961} as the nations,{H1471} as the families{H4940} of the countries,{H776} to serve{H8334} wood{H6086} and stone.{H68} 33 As I live,{H2416} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} surely with a mighty{H2389} hand,{H3027} and with an outstretched{H5186} arm,{H2220} and with wrath{H2534} poured out,{H5186} will I be king{H4427} over you: 34 and I will bring you out{H3318} from the peoples,{H5971} and will gather{H6908} you out of the countries{H776} wherein ye are scattered,{H6327} with a mighty{H2389} hand,{H3027} and with an outstretched{H5186} arm,{H2220} and with wrath{H2534} poured out;{H5186} 35 and I will bring{H935} you into the wilderness{H4057} of the peoples,{H5971} and there will I enter into judgment{H8199} with you face{H6440} to face.{H6440} 36 Like as I entered into judgment{H8199} with your fathers{H1} in the wilderness{H4057} of the land{H776} of Egypt,{H4714} so will I enter into judgment{H8199} with you, saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069} 37 And I will cause you to pass{H5674} under the rod,{H7626} and I will bring{H935} you into the bond{H4562} of the covenant;{H1285} 38 and I will purge out{H1305} from among you the rebels,{H4775} and them that transgress{H6586} against me; I will bring them forth{H3318} out of the land{H776} where they sojourn,{H4033} but they shall not enter{H935} into the land{H127} of Israel:{H3478} and ye shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah.{H3068} 39 As for you, O house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} Go{H3212} ye, serve{H5647} every one{H376} his idols,{H1544} and hereafter{H310} also, if ye will not hearken{H8085} unto me; but my holy{H6944} name{H8034} shall ye no more profane{H2490} with your gifts,{H4979} and with your idols.{H1544} 40 For in my holy{H6944} mountain,{H2022} in the mountain{H2022} of the height{H4791} of Israel,{H3478} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} there shall all the house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} all of them, serve{H5647} me in the land:{H776} there will I accept{H7521} them, and there will I require{H1875} your offerings,{H8641} and the first-fruits{H7225} of your oblations,{H4864} with all your holy things.{H6944} 41 As a sweet{H5207} savor{H7381} will I accept{H7521} you, when I bring you out{H3318} from the peoples,{H5971} and gather{H6908} you out{H3318} of the countries{H776} wherein ye have been scattered;{H6327} and I will be sanctified{H6942} in you in the sight of the nations.{H1471} 42 And ye shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah,{H3068} when I shall bring{H935} you into the land{H127} of Israel,{H3478} into the country{H776} which I sware{H3027} to{H5375} give{H5414} unto your fathers.{H1} 43 And there shall ye remember{H2142} your ways,{H1870} and all your doings,{H5949} wherein ye have polluted{H2930} yourselves; and ye shall loathe{H6962} yourselves in your own sight{H6440} for all your evils{H7451} that ye have committed.{H6213} 44 And ye shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah,{H3068} when I have dealt{H6213} with you for my name's{H8034} sake, not according to your evil{H7451} ways,{H1870} nor according to your corrupt{H7843} doings,{H5949} O ye house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069} 45 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559} 46 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} set{H7760} thy face{H6440} toward{H1870} the south,{H8486} and drop{H5197} [thy word] toward the south,{H1864} and prophesy{H5012} against the forest{H3293} of the field{H7704} in the South;{H5045} 47 and say{H559} to the forest{H3293} of the South,{H5045} Hear{H8085} the word{H1697} of Jehovah:{H3068} Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3068} Behold, I will kindle{H3341} a fire{H784} in thee, and it shall devour{H398} every green{H3892} tree{H6086} in thee, and every dry{H3002} tree:{H6086} the flaming{H3852} flame{H7957} shall not be quenched,{H3518} and all faces{H6440} from the south{H5045} to the north{H6828} shall be burnt{H6866} thereby. 48 And all flesh{H1320} shall see{H7200} that I, Jehovah,{H3068} have kindled{H1197} it; it shall not be quenched.{H3518} 49 Then said{H559} I, Ah{H162} Lord{H136} Jehovah!{H136} they say{H559} of me, Is he not a speaker{H4911} of parables?{H4912}

Dan 9:5-9 : 5 we have sinned,{H2398} and have dealt perversely,{H5753} and have done wickedly,{H7561} and have rebelled,{H4775} even turning aside{H5493} from thy precepts{H4687} and from thine ordinances;{H4941} 6 neither have we hearkened{H8085} unto thy servants{H5650} the prophets,{H5030} that spake{H1696} in thy name{H8034} to our kings,{H4428} our princes,{H8269} and our fathers,{H1} and to all the people{H5971} of the land.{H776} 7 O Lord,{H136} righteousness{H6666} belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion{H1322} of face,{H6440} as at this day;{H3117} to the men{H376} of Judah,{H3063} and to the inhabitants{H3427} of Jerusalem,{H3389} and unto all Israel,{H3478} that are near,{H7138} and that are far off,{H7350} through all the countries{H776} whither thou hast driven{H5080} them, because of their trespass{H4604} that they have trespassed{H4603} against thee. 8 O Lord,{H136} to us belongeth confusion{H1322} of face,{H6440} to our kings,{H4428} to our princes,{H8269} and to our fathers,{H1} because we have sinned{H2398} against thee. 9 To the Lord{H136} our God{H430} belong mercies{H7356} and forgiveness;{H5547} for we have rebelled{H4775} against him; 10 neither have we obeyed{H8085} the voice{H6963} of Jehovah{H3068} our God,{H430} to walk{H3212} in his laws,{H8451} which he set{H5414} before{H6440} us by{H3027} his servants{H5650} the prophets.{H5030} 11 Yea, all Israel{H3478} have transgressed{H5674} thy law,{H8451} even turning aside,{H5493} that they should not obey{H8085} thy voice:{H6963} therefore hath the curse{H423} been poured{H5413} out upon us, and the oath{H7621} that is written{H3789} in the law{H8451} of Moses{H4872} the servant{H5650} of God;{H430} for we have sinned{H2398} against him. 12 And he hath confirmed{H6965} his words,{H1697} which he spake{H1696} against us, and against our judges{H8199} that judged{H8199} us, by bringing{H935} upon us a great{H1419} evil;{H7451} for under the whole heaven{H8064} hath not been done{H6213} as hath been done{H6213} upon Jerusalem.{H3389} 13 As it is written{H3789} in the law{H8451} of Moses,{H4872} all this evil{H7451} is come{H935} upon us: yet have we not entreated{H2470} the favor{H6440} of Jehovah{H3068} our God,{H430} that we should turn{H7725} from our iniquities,{H5771} and have discernment{H7919} in thy truth.{H571}
