The word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came again unto me, saying,{H559}

Son{H1121} of man,{H120} say{H559} unto the prince{H5057} of Tyre,{H6865} Thus says{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} Because your heart{H3820} is lifted up,{H1361} and you have said,{H559} I am a god,{H410} I sit{H3427} in the seat{H4186} of God,{H430} in the midst{H3820} of the seas;{H3220} yet you are man,{H120} and not God,{H410} though you did set{H5414} your heart{H3820} as the heart{H3820} of God;—{H430}

behold, you are wiser{H2450} than Daniel;{H1840} there is no secret{H5640} that is hidden{H5640} from you;

by your wisdom{H2451} and by your understanding{H8394} you have gotten{H6213} you riches,{H2428} and have gotten{H6213} gold{H2091} and silver{H3701} into your treasures;{H214}

by your great{H7230} wisdom{H2451} [and] by your traffic{H7404} have you increased{H7235} your riches,{H2428} and your heart{H3824} is lifted up{H1361} because of your riches;—{H2428}

therefore thus says{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} Because you have set{H5414} your heart{H3820} as the heart{H3824} of God,{H430}

therefore, behold, I will bring{H935} strangers{H2114} upon you, the terrible{H6184} of the nations;{H1471} and they shall draw{H7324} their swords{H2719} against the beauty{H3308} of your wisdom,{H2451} and they shall defile{H2490} your brightness.{H3314}

They shall bring you down{H3381} to the pit;{H7845} and you shall die{H4191} the death{H4463} of them that are slain,{H2491} in the heart{H3820} of the seas.{H3220}

Will you yet{H559} say{H559} before{H6440} him that slays{H2026} you, I am God?{H430} but you are man,{H120} and not God,{H410} in the hand{H3027} of him that woundeth{H2490} you.

You shall die{H4191} the death{H4194} of the uncircumcised{H6189} by the hand{H3027} of strangers:{H2114} for I have spoken{H1696} it, says{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069}

Moreover the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559}

Son{H1121} of man,{H120} take up{H5375} a lamentation{H7015} over the king{H4428} of Tyre,{H6865} and say{H559} unto him, Thus says{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} You sealest up{H2856} the sum,{H8508} full{H4392} of wisdom,{H2451} and perfect{H3632} in beauty.{H3308}

You were in Eden,{H5731} the garden{H1588} of God;{H430} every precious{H3368} stone{H68} was your covering,{H4540} the sardius,{H124} the topaz,{H6357} and the diamond,{H3095} the beryl,{H8658} the onyx,{H7718} and the jasper,{H3471} the sapphire,{H5601} the emerald,{H5306} and the carbuncle,{H1304} and gold:{H2091} the workmanship{H4399} of your tabrets{H8596} and of your pipes{H5345} was in you; in the day{H3117} that you were created{H1254} they were prepared.{H3559}

You were the anointed{H4473} cherub{H3742} that covers:{H5526} and I set{H5414} you, [so that] you were upon the holy{H6944} mountain{H2022} of God;{H430} you have walked up and down{H1980} in the midst{H8432} of the stones{H68} of fire.{H784}

You were perfect{H8549} in your ways{H1870} from the day{H3117} that you were created,{H1254} until unrighteousness{H5766} was found{H4672} in you.

By the abundance{H7230} of your traffic{H7404} they filled{H4390} the midst{H8432} of you with violence,{H2555} and you have sinned:{H2398} therefore have I cast you as profane{H2490} out of the mountain{H2022} of God;{H430} and I have destroyed{H6} you, O covering{H5526} cherub,{H3742} from the midst{H8432} of the stones{H68} of fire.{H784}

Your heart{H3820} was lifted up{H1361} because of your beauty;{H3308} you have corrupted{H7843} your wisdom{H2451} by reason of{H5921} your brightness:{H3314} I have cast{H7993} you to the ground;{H776} I have laid{H5414} you before{H6440} kings,{H4428} that they may behold{H7200} you.

By the multitude{H7230} of your iniquities,{H5771} in the unrighteousness{H5766} of your traffic,{H7404} you have profaned{H2490} your sanctuaries;{H4720} therefore have I brought forth{H3318} a fire{H784} from the midst{H8432} of you; it has devoured{H398} you, and I have turned{H5414} you to ashes{H665} upon the earth{H776} in the sight{H5869} of all them that behold{H7200} you.

All they that know{H3045} you among the peoples{H5971} shall be astonished{H8074} at you: you are become a terror,{H1091} and you shall{H369} nevermore{H5704} have any being.

And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559}

Son{H1121} of man,{H120} set{H7760} your face{H6440} toward Sidon,{H6721} and prophesy{H5012} against it,

and say,{H559} Thus says{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} Behold, I am against you, O Sidon;{H6721} and I will be glorified{H3513} in the midst{H8432} of you; and they shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah,{H3068} when I shall have executed{H6213} judgments{H8201} in her, and shall be sanctified{H6942} in her.

For I will send{H7971} pestilence{H1698} into her, and blood{H1818} into her streets;{H2351} and the wounded{H2491} shall fall{H5307} in the midst{H8432} of her, with the sword{H2719} upon her on every side;{H5439} and they shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah.{H3068}

And there shall be no more a pricking{H3992} brier{H5544} unto the house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} nor a hurting{H3510} thorn{H6975} of any that are round about{H5439} them, that did despite{H7590} unto them; and they shall know{H3045} that I am the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069}

Thus says{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} When I shall have gathered{H6908} the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} from the peoples{H5971} among whom they are scattered,{H6327} and shall be sanctified{H6942} in them in the sight{H5869} of the nations,{H1471} then shall they live{H3427} in their own land{H127} which I gave{H5414} to my servant{H5650} Jacob.{H3290}

And they shall live{H3427} securely{H983} in it; Yes, they shall build{H1129} houses,{H1004} and plant{H5193} vineyards,{H3754} and shall live{H3427} securely,{H983} when I have executed{H6213} judgments{H8201} upon all those that do them despite{H7590} round about{H5439} them; and they shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah{H3068} their God.{H430}
