And the elders{H7868} of the Jews{H3062} builded{H1124} and prospered,{H6744} through the prophesying{H5017} of Haggai{H2292} the prophet{H5029} and Zechariah{H2148} the son{H1247} of Iddo.{H5714} And they builded{H1124} and finished{H3635} it, according{H4481} to the commandment{H2941} of the God{H426} of Israel,{H3479} and according to the decree{H2942} of Cyrus,{H3567} and Darius,{H1868} and Artaxerxes{H783} king{H4430} of Persia.{H6540}

Ezra 3:8 : 8 Now in the second{H8145} year{H8141} of their coming{H935} unto the house{H1004} of God{H430} at Jerusalem,{H3389} in the second{H8145} month,{H2320} began{H2490} Zerubbabel{H2216} the son{H1121} of Shealtiel,{H7597} and Jeshua{H3442} the son{H1121} of Jozadak,{H3136} and the rest{H7605} of their brethren{H251} the priests{H3548} and the Levites,{H3881} and all they that were come out{H935} of the captivity{H7628} unto Jerusalem,{H3389} and appointed{H5975} the Levites,{H3881} from twenty{H6242} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward,{H4605} to have the oversight{H5329} of the work{H4399} of the house{H1004} of Jehovah.{H3068}
Ezra 4:3 : 3 But Zerubbabel,{H2216} and Jeshua,{H3442} and the rest{H7605} of the heads{H7218} of fathers'{H1} [houses] of Israel,{H3478} said{H559} unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us in building{H1129} a house{H1004} unto our God;{H430} but we ourselves together{H3162} will build{H1129} unto Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of Israel,{H3478} as king{H4428} Cyrus{H3566} the king{H4428} of Persia{H6539} hath commanded{H6680} us.

Hag 2:2-9 : 2 Speak{H559} now to Zerubbabel{H2216} the son{H1121} of Shealtiel,{H7597} governor{H6346} of Judah,{H3063} and to Joshua{H3091} the son{H1121} of Jehozadak,{H3087} the high{H1419} priest,{H3548} and to the remnant{H7611} of the people,{H5971} saying,{H559} 3 Who is left{H7604} among you that saw{H7200} this house{H1004} in its former{H7223} glory?{H3519} and how do ye see{H7200} it now? is it not in your eyes{H5869} as{H3644} nothing? 4 Yet now be strong,{H2388} O Zerubbabel,{H2216} saith{H5002} Jehovah;{H3068} and be strong,{H2388} O Joshua,{H3091} son{H1121} of Jehozadak,{H3087} the high{H1419} priest;{H3548} and be strong,{H2388} all ye people{H5971} of the land,{H776} saith{H5002} Jehovah,{H3068} and work:{H6213} for I am with you, saith{H5002} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} 5 [according to] the word{H1697} that I covenanted{H3772} with you when ye came{H3318} out of Egypt,{H4714} and my Spirit{H7307} abode{H5975} among{H8432} you: fear{H3372} ye not. 6 For thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts:{H6635} Yet once,{H259} it is a little while,{H4592} and I will shake{H7493} the heavens,{H8064} and the earth,{H776} and the sea,{H3220} and the dry{H2724} land; 7 and I will shake{H7493} all nations;{H1471} and the precious things of all nations{H1471} shall come;{H935} and I will fill{H4390} this house{H1004} with glory,{H3519} saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts.{H6635} 8 The silver{H3701} is mine, and the gold{H2091} is mine, saith{H5002} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts.{H6635} 9 The latter{H314} glory{H3519} of this house{H1004} shall be greater than{H1419} the former,{H7223} saith{H5002} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts;{H6635} and in this place{H4725} will I give{H5414} peace,{H7965} saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts.{H6635} 10 In the four{H702} and twentieth{H6242} [day] of the ninth{H8671} [month], in the second{H8147} year{H8141} of Darius,{H1867} came the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} by{H3027} Haggai{H2292} the prophet,{H5030} saying,{H559} 11 Thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts:{H6635} Ask{H7592} now the priests{H3548} concerning the law,{H8451} saying,{H559} 12 If one{H376} bear{H5375} holy{H6944} flesh{H1320} in the skirt{H3671} of his garment,{H899} and with his skirt{H3671} do touch{H5060} bread,{H3899} or pottage,{H5138} or wine,{H3196} or oil,{H8081} or any food,{H3978} shall it become holy?{H6942} And the priests{H3548} answered{H6030} and said,{H559} No. 13 Then said{H559} Haggai,{H2292} If one that is unclean{H2931} by reason of a dead body{H5315} touch{H5060} any of these, shall it be unclean?{H2930} And the priests{H3548} answered{H6030} and said,{H559} It shall be unclean.{H2930} 14 Then answered{H6030} Haggai{H2292} and said,{H559} So is this people,{H5971} and so is this nation{H1471} before{H6440} me, saith{H5002} Jehovah;{H3068} and so is every work{H4639} of their hands;{H3027} and that which they offer{H7126} there is unclean.{H2931} 15 And now, I pray you, consider{H7760} from this day{H3117} and backward,{H4605} before{H2962} a stone{H68} was laid{H7760} upon a stone{H68} in the temple{H1964} of Jehovah.{H3068}
Zech 2:1-4 : 1 And I lifted up{H5375} mine eyes,{H5869} and saw,{H7200} and, behold, a man{H376} with a measuring{H4060} line{H2256} in his hand.{H3027} 2 Then said{H559} I, Whither goest{H1980} thou? And he said{H559} unto me, To measure{H4058} Jerusalem,{H3389} to see{H7200} what{H4100} is the breadth{H7341} thereof, and what is the length{H753} thereof. 3 And, behold, the angel{H4397} that talked{H1696} with me went forth,{H3318} and another{H312} angel{H4397} went out{H3318} to meet{H7125} him, 4 and said{H559} unto him, Run,{H7323} speak{H1696} to this{H1975} young man,{H5288} saying,{H559} Jerusalem{H3389} shall be inhabited{H3427} as villages without walls,{H6519} by reason of the multitude{H7230} of men{H120} and cattle{H929} therein.{H8432}
Zech 4:9 : 9 The hands{H3027} of Zerubbabel{H2216} have laid the foundation{H3245} of this house;{H1004} his hands{H3027} shall also finish{H1214} it; and thou shalt know{H3045} that Jehovah{H3068} of hosts{H6635} hath sent{H7971} me unto you.
Zech 6:1-9 : 1 And again{H7725} I lifted up{H5375} mine eyes,{H5869} and saw,{H7200} and, behold, there came{H3318} four{H702} chariots{H4818} out{H3318} from between two{H8147} mountains;{H2022} and the mountains{H2022} were mountains{H2022} of brass.{H5178} 2 In the first{H7223} chariot{H4818} were red{H122} horses;{H5483} and in the second{H8145} chariot{H4818} black{H7838} horses;{H5483} 3 and in the third{H7992} chariot{H4818} white{H3836} horses;{H5483} and in the fourth{H7243} chariot{H4818} grizzled{H1261} strong{H554} horses.{H5483} 4 Then I answered{H6030} and said{H559} unto the angel{H4397} that talked{H1696} with me, What are these, my lord?{H113} 5 And the angel{H4397} answered{H6030} and said{H559} unto me, These are the four{H702} winds{H7307} of heaven,{H8064} which go forth{H3318} from standing{H3320} before the Lord{H113} of all the earth.{H776} 6 [ The chariot] wherein are the black{H7838} horses{H5483} goeth forth{H3318} toward the north{H6828} country;{H776} and the white{H3836} went forth{H3318} after{H310} them; and the grizzled{H1261} went forth{H3318} toward the south{H8486} country.{H776} 7 And the strong{H554} went forth,{H3318} and sought{H1245} to go{H3212} that they might walk to and fro{H1980} through the earth:{H776} and he said,{H559} Get you hence,{H3212} walk to and fro{H1980} through the earth.{H776} So they walked to and fro{H1980} through the earth.{H776} 8 Then cried{H2199} he to{H853} me, and spake{H1696} unto me, saying,{H559} Behold,{H7200} they that go{H3318} toward the north{H6828} country{H776} have quieted{H5117} my spirit{H7307} in the north{H6828} country.{H776} 9 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559} 10 Take{H3947} of them of the captivity,{H1473} even of Heldai,{H2469} of Tobijah,{H2900} and of Jedaiah;{H3048} and come{H935} thou the same day,{H3117} and go{H935} into the house{H1004} of Josiah{H2977} the son{H1121} of Zephaniah,{H6846} whither they are come{H935} from Babylon;{H894} 11 yea, take{H3947} [of them] silver{H3701} and gold,{H2091} and make{H6213} crowns,{H5850} and set{H7760} them upon the head{H7218} of Joshua{H3091} the son{H1121} of Jehozadak,{H3087} the high{H1419} priest;{H3548} 12 and speak{H559} unto him, saying,{H559} Thus speaketh{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} saying,{H559} Behold, the man{H376} whose name{H8034} is the Branch:{H6780} and he shall grow up{H6779} out of his place; and he shall build{H1129} the temple{H1964} of Jehovah;{H3068} 13 even he shall build{H1129} the temple{H1964} of Jehovah;{H3068} and he shall bear{H5375} the glory,{H1935} and shall sit{H3427} and rule{H4910} upon his throne;{H3678} and he shall be a priest{H3548} upon his throne;{H3678} and the counsel{H6098} of peace{H7965} shall be between them both.{H8147} 14 And the crowns{H5850} shall be to Helem,{H2494} and to Tobijah,{H2900} and to Jedaiah,{H3048} and to Hen{H2581} the son{H1121} of Zephaniah,{H6846} for a memorial{H2146} in the temple{H1964} of Jehovah.{H3068} 15 And they that are far off{H7350} shall come{H935} and build{H1129} in the temple{H1964} of Jehovah;{H3068} and ye shall know{H3045} that Jehovah{H3068} of hosts{H6635} hath sent{H7971} me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently{H8085} obey{H8085} the voice{H6963} of Jehovah{H3068} your God.{H430}
