meeting,{H4150} [about] the most{H6944} holy things:{H6944} 5 when the camp{H4264} setteth forward,{H5265} Aaron{H175} shall go in,{H935} and his sons,{H1121} and they shall take down{H3381} the veil{H6532} of the screen,{H4539} and cover{H3680} the ark{H727} of the testimony{H5715} with it, 6 and shall put{H5414} thereon a covering{H3681} of{H8476} sealskin,{H5785} and shall spread{H6566} over{H4605} it a cloth{H899} all{H3632} of blue,{H8504} and shall put{H7760} in the staves{H905} thereof. 7 And upon the table{H7979} of showbread{H6440} they shall spread{H6566} a cloth{H899} of blue,{H8504} and put{H5414} thereon the dishes,{H7086} and the spoons,{H3709} and the bowls{H4518} and the cups{H7184} wherewith{H5262} to pour out; and the continual{H8548} bread{H3899} shall be thereon: 8 and they shall spread{H6566} upon them a cloth{H899} of scarlet,{H8438} and cover{H3680} the same with a covering{H4372} of{H8476} sealskin,{H5785} and shall put{H7760} in the staves{H905} thereof. 9 And they shall take{H3947} a cloth{H899} of blue,{H8504} and cover{H3680} the candlestick{H4501} of the light,{H3974} and its lamps,{H5216} and its snuffers,{H4457} and its snuffdishes,{H4289} and all the oil{H8081} vessels{H3627} thereof, wherewith they minister{H8334} unto it: 10 and they shall put{H5414} it and all the vessels{H3627} thereof within a covering{H4372} of{H8476} sealskin,{H5785} and shall put{H5414} it upon the frame.{H4132} 11 And upon the golden{H2091} altar{H4196} they shall spread{H6566} a cloth{H899} of blue,{H8504} and cover{H3680} it with a anointing{H4888} oil,{H8081} the charge{H6486} of all the tabernacle,{H4908} and of all that therein is, the sanctuary,{H6944} and the furniture{H3627} thereof. 17 And Jehovah{H3068} spake{H1696} unto Moses{H4872} and unto Aaron,{H175} saying,{H559} 18 Cut ye not off{H3772} the tribe{H7626} of the families{H4940} of the Kohathites{H6956} from among{H8432} the Levites;{H3881} 19 but thus do{H6213} unto them, that they may live,{H2421} and not die,{H4191} when they approach{H5066} unto the most{H6944} holy things:{H6944} Aaron{H175} and his sons{H1121} shall go in,{H935} and appoint{H7760} them every{H376} one{H376} to his service{H5656} and to his burden;{H4853} 20 but they shall not go in{H935} to see{H7200} the sanctuary{H6944} even for a moment,{H1104} lest they die.{H4191} 21 And it, and the screen{H4539} for the door{H6607} of the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} 26 and the hangings{H7050} of the court,{H2691} and the screen{H4539} for the door{H6607} of the gate{H8179} of the court,{H2691} which is by the tabernacle{H4908} and by the altar{H4196} round about,{H5439} and their cords,{H4340} and all the instruments{H3627} of their service,{H5656} and whatsoever shall be done{H6213} with them: therein shall they serve.{H5647} 27 At the commandment{H6310} of Aaron{H175} and his sons{H1121} shall be all the service{H5656} of the sons{H1121} of the Gershonites,{H1649} in all their burden,{H4853} and in all their service;{H5656} and ye shall appoint{H6485} unto them in charge{H4931} all their burden.{H4853} 28 This is the service{H5656} of the families{H4940} of the sons{H1121} of the Gershonites{H1649} in the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} and their charge{H4931} shall be under the hand{H3027} of Ithamar{H385} the son{H1121} of Aaron{H175} the priest.{H3548} 29 As for the sons{H1121} of Merari,{H4847} thou shalt number{H6485} them by their families,{H4940} by their fathers'{H1} houses;{H1004} 30 from thirty{H7970} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} even unto fifty{H2572} years{H8141} old{H1121} shalt thou number{H6485} them, every one that entereth{H935} upon the service,{H6635} to do{H5647} the work{H5656} of the tent{H168} of meeting.{H4150} 31 And this is the charge{H4931} of their burden,{H4853} according to all their service{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} the boards{H7175} of the tabernacle,{H4908} and the bars{H1280} thereof, and the pillars{H5982} thereof, and the sockets{H134} thereof, 32 and the pillars{H5982} of the court{H2691} round about,{H5439} and their sockets,{H134} and their pins,{H3489} and their cords,{H4340} with all their instruments,{H3627} and with all their service:{H5656} and by name{H8034} ye shall appoint{H6485} the instruments{H3627} of the charge{H4931} of their burden.{H4853} 33 This is the service{H5656} of the families{H4940} of the sons{H1121} of Merari,{H4847} according to all their service,{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} under the hand{H3027} of Ithamar{H385} the son{H1121} of Aaron{H175} the priest.{H3548} 34 And Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} and the princes{H5387} of the congregation{H5712} numbered{H6485} the sons{H1121} of the Kohathites{H6956} by their families,{H4940} and by their fathers'{H1} houses,{H1004} 35 from thirty{H7970} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} even unto fifty{H2572} years{H8141} old,{H1121} every one that entered{H935} upon the service,{H6635} for work{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} 36 and those that were numbered{H6485} of them by their families{H4940} were two thousand{H505} seven{H7651} hundred{H3967} and fifty.{H2572} 37 These are they that were numbered{H6485} of the families{H4940} of the Kohathites,{H6956} all that did serve{H5647} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} whom Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} numbered{H6485} according to the commandment{H6310} of Jehovah{H3068} by{H3027} Moses.{H4872} 38 And those that were numbered{H6485} of the sons{H1121} of Gershon,{H1648} their families,{H4940} and by their fathers'{H1} houses,{H1004} 39 from thirty{H7970} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} even unto fifty{H2572} years{H8141} old,{H1121} every one that entered{H935} upon the service,{H6635} for work{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} 40 even those that were numbered{H6485} of them, by their families,{H4940} by their fathers'{H1} houses,{H1004} were two thousand{H505} and six{H8337} hundred{H3967} and thirty.{H7970} 41 These are they that were numbered{H6485} of the families{H4940} of the sons{H1121} of Gershon,{H1648} all that did serve{H5647} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} whom Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} numbered{H6485} according to the commandment{H6310} of Jehovah.{H3068} 42 And those that were numbered{H6485} of the families{H4940} of the sons{H1121} of Merari,{H4847} by their families,{H4940} by their fathers'{H1} houses,{H1004} 43 from thirty{H7970} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} even unto fifty{H2572} years{H8141} old,{H1121} every one that entered{H935} upon the service,{H6635} for work{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} 44 even those that were numbered{H6485} of them by their families,{H4940} were three{H7969} thousand{H505} and two hundred.{H3967} 45 These are they that were numbered{H6485} of the families{H4940} of the sons{H1121} of Merari,{H4847} whom Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} numbered{H6485} according to the commandment{H6310} of Jehovah{H3068} by{H3027} Moses.{H4872} 46 All those that were numbered{H6485} of the Levites,{H3881} whom Moses{H4872} and Aaron{H175} and the princes{H5387} of Israel{H3478} numbered,{H6485} by their families,{H4940} and by their fathers'{H1} houses,{H1004} 47 from thirty{H7970} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} even unto fifty{H2572} years{H8141} old,{H1121} every one that entered{H935} in to do{H5647} the work{H5656} of service,{H5656} and the work of bearing burdens{H4853} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} 48 even those that were numbered{H6485} of them, were eight{H8083} thousand{H505} and five{H2568} hundred{H3967} and fourscore.{H8084} 49 According to the commandment{H6310} of Jehovah{H3068} they were numbered{H6485} by{H3027} Moses,{H4872} every{H376} one{H376} according to his service,{H5656} and according to his burden:{H4853} thus were they numbered{H6485} of him, as Jehovah{H3068} commanded{H6680} Moses.{H4872}
Num 8:1-9 : 1 And Jehovah{H3068} spake{H1696} unto Moses,{H4872} saying,{H559} 2 Speak{H1696} unto Aaron,{H175} and say{H559} unto him, When thou lightest{H5927} the lamps,{H5216} the seven{H7651} lamps{H5216} shall give light{H215} in front{H6440} of the candlestick.{H4501} 3 And Aaron{H175} did{H6213} so; he lighted{H5927} the lamps{H5216} thereof [so as to give light] in front{H4136} of the candlestick,{H4501} as Jehovah{H3068} commanded{H6680} Moses.{H4872} 4 And this was the work{H4639} of the candlestick,{H4501} beaten{H4749} work of gold;{H2091} unto the base{H3409} thereof, [and] unto the flowers{H6525} thereof, it was beaten work:{H4749} according unto the pattern{H4758} which Jehovah{H3068} had showed{H7200} Moses,{H4872} so he made{H6213} the candlestick.{H4501} 5 And Jehovah{H3068} spake{H1696} unto Moses,{H4872} saying,{H559} 6 Take{H3947} the Levites{H3881} from among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} and cleanse{H2891} them. 7 And thus shalt thou do{H6213} unto them, to cleanse{H2891} them: sprinkle{H5137} the water{H4325} of expiation{H2403} upon them, and let them cause a razor{H8593} to pass over all their flesh,{H1320} and let them wash{H3526} their clothes,{H899} and cleanse{H2891} themselves. 8 Then let them take{H3947} a young{H1121} bullock,{H6499} and its meal-offering,{H4503} fine flour{H5560} mingled{H1101} with oil;{H8081} and another{H8145} young{H1121} bullock{H6499} shalt thou take{H3947} for a sin-offering.{H2403} 9 And thou shalt present{H7126} the Levites{H3881} before{H6440} the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} and thou shalt assemble{H6950} the whole{H6950} congregation{H4150} of the children{H1121} of Israel:{H3478} 10 and thou shalt present{H7126} the Levites{H3881} before{H6440} Jehovah.{H3068} And the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} shall lay{H5564} their hands{H3027} upon the Levites:{H3881} 11 and Aaron{H175} shall offer{H5130} the Levites{H3881} before{H6440} Jehovah{H3068} for a wave-offering,{H8573} on the behalf of the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} that it may be theirs to do{H5647} the service{H5656} of Jehovah.{H3068} 12 And the Levites{H3881} shall lay{H5564} their hands{H3027} upon the heads{H7218} of the bullocks:{H6499} and offer{H6213} thou the one{H259} for a sin-offering,{H2403} and the other{H259} for a burnt-offering,{H2403} unto Jehovah,{H3068} to make atonement{H3722} for the Levites.{H3881} 13 And thou shalt set{H5975} the Levites{H3881} before{H6440} Aaron,{H175} and before{H6440} his sons,{H1121} and offer{H5130} them for a wave-offering{H8573} unto Jehovah.{H3068} 14 Thus shalt thou separate{H914} the Levites{H3881} from among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel;{H3478} and the Levites{H3881} shall be mine. 15 And after{H310} that shall the Levites{H3881} go in{H935} to do the service{H5647} of the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} and thou shalt cleanse{H2891} them, and offer{H5130} them for a wave-offering.{H8573} 16 For they are wholly given{H5414} unto me from among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel;{H3478} instead of all that openeth{H6363} the womb,{H7358} even the first-born{H1060} of all the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} have I taken{H3947} them unto me. 17 For all the first-born{H1060} among the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} are mine, both man{H120} and beast:{H929} on the day{H3117} that I smote{H5221} all the first-born{H1060} in the land{H776} of Egypt{H4714} I sanctified{H6942} them for myself. 18 And I have taken{H3947} the Levites{H3881} instead of all the first-born{H1060} among the children{H1121} of Israel.{H3478} 19 And I have given{H5414} the Levites{H3881} as a gift{H5414} to Aaron{H175} and to his sons{H1121} from among{H8432} the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} to do{H5647} the service{H5656} of the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} and to make atonement{H3722} for the children{H1121} of Israel;{H3478} that there be no plague{H5063} among the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} when the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} come nigh{H5066} unto the sanctuary.{H6944} 20 Thus did{H6213} Moses,{H4872} and Aaron,{H175} and all the congregation{H5712} of the children{H1121} of Israel,{H3478} unto the Levites:{H3881} according unto all that Jehovah{H3068} commanded{H6680} Moses{H4872} touching the Levites,{H3881} so did{H6213} the children{H1121} of Israel{H3478} unto them. 21 And the Levites{H3881} purified{H2398} themselves from sin, and they washed{H3526} their clothes:{H899} and Aaron{H175} offered{H5130} them for a wave-offering{H8573} before{H6440} Jehovah;{H3068} and Aaron{H175} made atonement{H3722} for them to cleanse{H2891} them. 22 And after{H310} that went{H935} the Levites{H3881} in to do{H5647} their service{H5656} in the tent{H168} of meeting{H4150} before{H6440} Aaron,{H175} and before{H6440} his sons:{H1121} as Jehovah{H3068} had commanded{H6680} Moses{H4872} concerning the Levites,{H3881} so did{H6213} they unto them. 23 And Jehovah{H3068} spake{H1696} unto Moses,{H4872} saying,{H559} 24 This is that which belongeth unto the Levites:{H3881} from twenty{H6242} and five{H2568} years{H8141} old{H1121} and upward{H4605} they shall go in{H935} to wait{H6633} upon the service{H5656} in the work of the tent{H168} of meeting:{H4150} 25 and from the age{H1121} of fifty{H2572} years{H8141} they shall cease{H7725} waiting{H6635} upon the work,{H5656} and shall serve{H5647} no more, 26 but shall minister{H8334} with their brethren{H251} in the tent{H168} of meeting,{H4150} to keep{H8104} the charge,{H4931} and shall do{H5647} no service.{H5656} Thus shalt thou do{H5647} unto the Levites{H3881} touching their charges.{H4931}

1 Chr 22:1-9 : 1 Then David{H1732} said,{H559} This is the house{H1004} of Jehovah{H3068} God,{H430} and this is the altar{H4196} of burnt-offering{H5930} for Israel.{H3478} 2 And David{H1732} commanded{H559} to gather together{H3664} the sojourners{H1616} that were in the land{H776} of Israel;{H3478} and he set{H5975} masons{H2672} to hew{H2672} wrought{H1496} stones{H68} to build{H1129} the house{H1004} of God.{H430} 3 And David{H1732} prepared{H3559} iron{H1270} in abundance{H7230} for the nails{H4548} for the doors{H1817} of the gates,{H8179} and for the couplings;{H4226} and brass{H5178} in abundance{H7230} without weight;{H4948} 4 and cedar -{H730} trees{H6086} without number:{H7230} for the Sidonians{H6722} and they of Tyre{H6876} brought{H935} cedar -{H730} trees{H6086} in abundance{H369} to David.{H1732} 5 And David{H1732} said,{H559} Solomon{H8010} my son{H1121} is young{H5288} and tender,{H7390} and the house{H1004} that is to be builded{H1129} for Jehovah{H3068} must be exceeding{H4605} magnificent,{H1431} of fame{H8034} and of glory{H8597} throughout all countries:{H776} I will therefore make preparation{H3559} for it. So David{H1732} prepared{H3559} abundantly{H7230} before{H6440} his death.{H4194} 6 Then he called{H7121} for Solomon{H8010} his son,{H1121} and charged{H6680} him to build{H1129} a house{H1004} for Jehovah,{H3068} the God{H430} of Israel.{H3478} 7 And David{H1732} said{H559} to Solomon{H8010} his son,{H1121} As for me, it was in my heart{H3824} to build{H1129} a house{H1004} unto the name{H8034} of Jehovah{H3068} my God.{H430} 8 But the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to me, saying,{H559} Thou hast shed{H8210} blood{H1818} abundantly,{H7230} and hast made{H6213} great{H1419} wars:{H4421} thou shalt not build{H1129} a house{H1004} unto my name,{H8034} because thou hast shed{H8210} much{H7227} blood{H1818} upon the earth{H776} in my sight.{H6440} 9 Behold, a son{H1121} shall be born{H3205} to thee, who shall be a man{H376} of rest;{H4496} and I will give him rest{H5117} from all his enemies{H341} round about;{H5439} for his name{H8034} shall be Solomon,{H8010} and I will give{H5414} peace{H7965} and quietness{H8253} unto Israel{H3478} in his days:{H3117} 10 he shall build{H1129} a house{H1004} for my name;{H8034} and he shall be my son,{H1121} and I will be his father;{H1} and I will establish{H3559} the throne{H3678} of his kingdom{H4438} over Israel{H3478} for{H5704} ever.{H5769} 11 Now, my son,{H1121} Jehovah{H3068} be with thee; and prosper{H6743} thou, and build{H1129} the house{H1004} of Jehovah{H3068} thy God,{H430} as he hath spoken{H1696} concerning thee. 12 Only Jehovah{H3068} give{H5414} thee discretion{H7922} and understanding,{H998} and give thee charge{H6680} concerning Israel;{H3478} that so thou mayest keep{H8104} the law{H8451} of Jehovah{H3068} thy God.{H430} 13 Then shalt thou prosper,{H6743} if thou observe{H8104} to do{H6213} the statutes{H2706} and the ordinances{H4941} which Jehovah{H3068} charged{H6680} Moses{H4872} with concerning Israel:{H3478} be strong,{H2388} and of good courage;{H553} fear{H3372} not, neither be dismayed.{H2865} 14 Now, behold, in my affliction{H3559} I have prepared{H3559} for the house{H1004} of Jehovah{H3068} a hundred{H3967} thousand{H505} talents{H3603} of gold,{H2091} and a thousand{H505} thousand{H505} talents{H3603} of silver,{H3701} and of brass{H5178} and iron{H1270} without weight;{H4948} for it is in abundance:{H7230} timber{H6086} also and stone{H68} have I prepared;{H3559} and thou mayest add{H3254} thereto. 15 Moreover there are workmen{H6213} with thee in abundance,{H7230} hewers{H2672} and workers{H2796} of stone{H68} and timber,{H6086} and all men{H2450} that are skilful in every manner of work:{H4399} 16 of the gold,{H2091} the silver,{H3701} and the brass,{H5178} and the iron,{H1270} there is no number.{H4557} Arise{H6965} and be doing,{H6213} and Jehovah{H3068} be with thee. 17 David{H1732} also commanded{H6680} all the princes{H8269} of Israel{H3478} to help{H5826} Solomon{H8010} his son,{H1121} [saying], 18 Is not Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} with you? and hath he not given you rest{H5117} on every side?{H5439} for he hath delivered{H5414} the inhabitants{H3427} of the land{H776} into my hand;{H3027} and the land{H776} is subdued{H3533} before{H6440} Jehovah,{H3068} and before{H6440} his people.{H5971} 19 Now set{H5414} your heart{H3824} and your soul{H5315} to seek{H1875} after Jehovah{H3068} your God;{H430} arise{H6965} therefore, and build{H1129} ye the sanctuary{H4720} of Jehovah{H3068} God,{H430} to bring{H935} the ark{H727} of the covenant{H1285} of Jehovah,{H3068} and the holy{H6944} vessels{H3627} of God,{H430} into the house{H1004} that is to be built{H1129} to the name{H8034} of Jehovah.{H3068}
