Yet they obeyed{H8085} not, nor inclined{H5186} their ear,{H241} but walked{H3212} every one{H376} in the stubbornness{H8307} of their evil{H7451} heart:{H3820} therefore I brought{H935} upon them all the words{H1697} of this covenant,{H1285} which I commanded{H6680} them to do,{H6213} but they did{H6213} them not.

shall eat{H398} them. 40 Thou shalt have olive-trees{H2132} throughout all thy borders,{H1366} but thou shalt not anoint{H5480} thyself with the oil;{H8081} for thine olive{H2132} shall cast{H5394} [its fruit]. 41 Thou shalt beget{H3205} sons{H1121} and daughters,{H1323} but they shall not be thine; for they shall go{H3212} into captivity.{H7628} 42 All thy trees{H6086} and the fruit{H6529} of God.{H430} 63 And it shall come to pass, that, as Jehovah{H3068} rejoiced{H7797} over you to do you good,{H3190} and to multiply{H7235} you, so Jehovah{H3068} will rejoice{H7797} over you to cause you to perish,{H6} and to destroy{H6} you; and ye shall be plucked{H5255} from off the land{H127} whither thou goest{H935} in to possess{H3423} it. 64 And Jehovah{H3068} will scatter{H6327} thee among all peoples,{H5971} from the one end{H7097} of the earth{H776} even unto the other{H7097} end of the earth; and there thou shalt serve{H5647} other{H312} gods,{H430} which thou hast not known,{H3045} thou nor thy fathers,{H1} even wood{H6086} and stone.{H68} 65 And among these{H1992} nations{H1471} shalt thou find no ease,{H7280} and there shall be no rest{H4494} for the sole{H3709} of thy foot:{H7272} but Jehovah{H3068} will give{H5414} thee there a trembling{H7268} heart,{H3820} and failing{H3631} of eyes,{H5869} and pining{H1671} of soul;{H5315} 66 and thy life{H2416} shall hang{H8511} in doubt before{H5048} thee; and thou shalt fear{H6342} night{H3915} and day,{H3119} and shalt have no assurance{H539} of thy life.{H2416} 67 In the morning{H1242} thou shalt say,{H559} Would it were{H5414} even!{H6153} and at even{H6153} thou shalt say,{H559} Would it were{H5414} morning!{H1242} for the fear{H6343} of thy heart{H3824} which thou shalt fear,{H6343} and for the sight{H4758} of thine eyes{H4758} which thou shalt see.{H7200} 68 And Jehovah{H3068} will bring{H7725} thee into Egypt{H4714} again{H7725} with ships,{H591} by the way{H1870} whereof I said{H559} unto thee, Thou shalt see{H7200} it no more again:{H3254} and there ye shall sell{H4376} yourselves unto your enemies{H341} for bondmen{H5650} and for bondwomen,{H8198} and no man shall buy{H7069} you.
Deut 29:21-24 : 21 And Jehovah{H3068} will set him apart{H914} unto evil{H7451} out of all the tribes{H7626} of Israel,{H3478} according to all the curses{H423} of the covenant{H1285} that is written{H3789} in this book{H5612} of the law.{H8451} 22 And the generation{H1755} to come,{H314} your children{H1121} that shall rise up{H6965} after{H310} you, and the foreigner{H5237} that shall come{H935} from a far{H7350} land,{H776} shall say,{H559} when they see{H7200} the plagues{H4347} of that land,{H776} and the sicknesses{H8463} wherewith Jehovah{H3068} hath made{H2470} it sick; 23 [ and that] the whole land{H776} thereof is brimstone,{H1614} and salt,{H4417} [and] a burning,{H8316} [that] it is not sown,{H2232} nor beareth,{H6779} nor any grass{H6212} groweth{H5927} therein, like the overthrow{H4114} of Sodom{H5467} and Gomorrah,{H6017} Admah{H126} and Zeboiim,{H6636} which Jehovah{H3068} overthrew{H2015} in his anger,{H639} and in his wrath:{H2534} 24 even all the nations{H1471} shall say,{H559} Wherefore hath Jehovah{H3068} done{H6213} thus unto this land?{H776} what meaneth the heat{H2750} of this great{H1419} anger?{H639}
Deut 30:17-19 : 17 But if thy heart{H3824} turn away,{H6437} and thou wilt not hear,{H8085} but shalt be drawn away,{H5080} and worship{H7812} other{H312} gods,{H430} and serve{H5647} them; 18 I denounce{H5046} unto you this day,{H3117} that ye shall surely{H6} perish;{H6} ye shall not prolong{H748} your days{H3117} in the land,{H127} whither thou passest over{H5674} the Jordan{H3383} to go{H935} in to possess{H3423} it. 19 I call{H5749} heaven{H8064} and earth{H776} to witness{H5749} against you this day,{H3117} that I have set{H5414} before{H6440} thee life{H2416} and death,{H4194} the blessing{H1293} and the curse:{H7045} therefore choose{H977} life,{H2416} that thou mayest live,{H2421} thou and thy seed;{H2233}
Deut 31:17-18 : 17 Then my anger{H639} shall be kindled{H2734} against them in that day,{H3117} and I will forsake{H5800} them, and I will hide{H5641} my face{H6440} from them, and they shall be devoured,{H398} and many{H7227} evils{H7451} and troubles{H6869} shall come upon{H4672} them; so that they will say{H559} in that day,{H3117} Are not these evils{H7451} come{H4672} upon us because our God{H430} is not among{H7130} us? 18 And I will surely{H5641} hide{H5641} my face{H6440} in that day{H3117} for all the evil{H7451} which they shall have wrought,{H6213} in that{H3588} they are turned{H6437} unto other{H312} gods.{H430}

Josh 23:13-16 : 13 know{H3045} for a certainty{H3045} that Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} will no more{H3254} drive these nations{H1471} from out{H3423} of your sight;{H6440} but they shall be a snare{H6341} and a trap{H4170} unto you, and a scourge{H7850} in your sides,{H6654} and thorns{H6796} in your eyes,{H5869} until ye perish{H6} from off this good{H2896} land{H127} which Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} hath given{H5414} you. 14 And, behold, this day{H3117} I am going{H1980} the way{H1870} of all the earth:{H776} and ye know{H3045} in all your hearts{H3824} and in all your souls,{H5315} that not one{H259} thing{H1697} hath failed{H5307} of all the good{H2896} things{H1697} which Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} spake{H1696} concerning you; all are come to pass{H935} unto you, not one{H259} thing{H1697} hath failed{H5307} thereof. 15 And it shall come to pass, that as all the good{H2896} things{H1697} are come{H935} upon you of which Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} spake{H1696} unto you, so will Jehovah{H3068} bring{H935} upon you all the evil{H7451} things,{H1697} until he have destroyed{H8045} you from off this good{H2896} land{H127} which Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} hath given{H5414} you. 16 When ye transgress{H5674} the covenant{H1285} of Jehovah{H3068} your God,{H430} which he commanded{H6680} you, and go{H1980} and serve{H5647} other{H312} gods,{H430} and bow{H7812} down yourselves to them; then will the anger{H639} of Jehovah{H3068} be kindled{H2734} against you, and ye shall perish{H6} quickly{H4120} from off the good{H2896} land{H776} which he hath given{H5414} unto you.
Neh 9:16-17 : 16 But they and our fathers{H1} dealt proudly{H2102} and hardened{H7185} their neck,{H6203} and hearkened{H8085} not to thy commandments,{H4687} 17 and refused{H3985} to obey,{H8085} neither were mindful{H2142} of thy wonders{H6381} that thou didst{H6213} among them, but hardened{H7185} their neck,{H6203} and in their rebellion{H4805} appointed{H5414} a captain{H7218} to return{H7725} to their bondage.{H5659} But thou art a God{H433} ready to pardon,{H5547} gracious{H2587} and merciful,{H7349} slow{H750} to anger,{H639} and abundant{H7227} in lovingkindness,{H2617} and forsookest{H5800} them not.
Neh 9:26 : 26 Nevertheless they were disobedient,{H4784} and rebelled{H4775} against thee, and cast{H7993} thy law{H8451} behind{H310} their back,{H1458} and slew{H2026} thy prophets{H5030} that testified{H5749} against them to turn{H7725} them again unto thee, and they wrought{H6213} great{H1419} provocations.{H5007}
Neh 9:29 : 29 and testifiedst{H5749} against them, that thou mightest bring them again{H7725} unto thy law.{H8451} Yet they dealt proudly,{H2102} and hearkened{H8085} not unto thy commandments,{H4687} but sinned{H2398} against thine ordinances,{H4941} (which if a man{H120} do,{H6213} he shall live{H2421} in them), and withdrew{H5414} the shoulder,{H3802} and hardened{H7185} their neck,{H6203} and would not hear.{H8085}
