Jer 13:1-9 : 1 Thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} unto me, Go,{H1980} and buy{H7069} thee a linen{H6593} girdle,{H232} and put{H7760} it upon thy loins,{H4975} and put{H935} it not in water.{H4325} 2 So I bought{H7069} a girdle{H232} according to the word{H1697} of Jehovah,{H3068} and put{H7760} it upon my loins.{H4975} 3 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me the second time,{H8145} saying,{H559} 4 Take{H3947} the girdle{H232} that thou hast bought,{H7069} which is upon thy loins,{H4975} and arise,{H6965} go{H3212} to the Euphrates,{H6578} and hide{H2934} it there in a cleft{H5357} of the rock.{H5553} 5 So I went,{H3212} and hid{H2934} it by the Euphrates,{H6578} as Jehovah{H3068} commanded{H6680} me. 6 And it came to pass after{H7093} many{H7227} days,{H3117} that Jehovah{H3068} said{H559} unto me, Arise,{H6965} go{H3212} to the Euphrates,{H6578} and take{H3947} the girdle{H232} from thence, which I commanded{H6680} thee to hide{H2934} there. 7 Then I went{H3212} to the Euphrates,{H6578} and digged,{H2658} and took{H3947} the girdle{H232} from the place{H4725} where I had hid{H2934} it; and, behold, the girdle{H232} was marred,{H7843} it was profitable{H6743} for nothing. 8 Then the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559} 9 Thus saith{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} After this manner will I mar{H7843} the pride{H1347} of Judah,{H3063} and the great{H7227} pride{H1347} of Jerusalem.{H3389} 10 This evil{H7451} people,{H5971} that refuse{H3987} to hear{H8085} my words,{H1697} that walk{H1980} in the stubbornness{H8307} of their heart,{H3820} and are gone{H3212} after{H310} other{H312} gods{H430} to serve{H5647} them, and to worship{H7812} them, shall even be as this girdle,{H232} which is profitable{H6743} for nothing. 11 For as the girdle{H232} cleaveth{H1692} to the loins{H4975} of a man,{H376} so have I caused to cleave{H1692} unto me the whole house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} and the whole house{H1004} of Judah,{H3063} saith{H5002} Jehovah;{H3068} that they may be unto me for a people,{H5971} and for a name,{H8034} and for a praise,{H8416} and for a glory:{H8597} but they would not hear.{H8085}
Jer 18:2-9 : 2 Arise,{H6965} and go down{H3381} to the potter's{H3335} house,{H1004} and there I will cause thee to hear{H8085} my words.{H1697} 3 Then I went down{H3381} to the potter's{H3335} house,{H1004} and, behold,{H2009} he was making{H6213} a work{H4399} on the wheels.{H70} 4 And when the vessel{H3627} that he made{H6213} of the clay{H2563} was marred{H7843} in the hand{H3027} of the potter,{H3335} he made{H6213} it again{H7725} another{H312} vessel,{H3627} as seemed{H5869} good{H3474} to the potter{H3335} to make{H6213} it. 5 Then the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to me, saying,{H559} 6 O house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} cannot{H3201} I do{H6213} with you as this potter?{H3335} saith{H5002} Jehovah.{H3068} Behold, as the clay{H2563} in the potter's{H3335} hand,{H3027} so are ye in my hand,{H3027} O house{H1004} of Israel.{H3478} 7 At what instant{H7281} I shall speak{H1696} concerning a nation,{H1471} and concerning a kingdom,{H4467} to pluck up{H5428} and to break down{H5422} and to destroy{H6} it; 8 if that nation,{H1471} concerning which I have spoken,{H1696} turn{H7725} from their evil,{H7451} I will repent{H5162} of the evil{H7451} that I thought{H2803} to do{H6213} unto them. 9 And at what instant{H7281} I shall speak{H1696} concerning a nation,{H1471} and concerning a kingdom,{H4467} to build{H1129} and to plant{H5193} it; 10 if they do{H6213} that which is evil{H7451} in my sight,{H5869} that they obey{H8085} not my voice,{H6963} then I will repent{H5162} of the good,{H2896} wherewith I said{H559} I would benefit{H3190} them.
Jer 19:1-9 : 1 Thus said{H559} Jehovah,{H3068} Go,{H1980} and buy{H7069} a potter's{H3335} earthen{H2789} bottle,{H1228} and [take] of the elders{H2205} of the people,{H5971} and of the elders{H2205} of the priests;{H3548} 2 and go forth{H3318} unto the valley{H1516} of the son{H1121} of Hinnom,{H2011} which is by the entry{H6607} of the gate{H8179} Harsith,{H2777} and proclaim{H7121} there the words{H1697} that I shall tell{H1696} thee; 3 and say,{H559} Hear{H8085} ye the word{H1697} of Jehovah,{H3068} O kings{H4428} of Judah,{H3063} and inhabitants{H3427} of Jerusalem:{H3389} thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel,{H3478} Behold, I will bring{H935} evil{H7451} upon this place,{H4725} which whosoever heareth,{H8085} his ears{H241} shall tingle.{H6750} 4 Because they have forsaken{H5800} me, and have estranged{H5234} this place,{H4725} and have burned incense{H6999} in it unto other{H312} gods,{H430} that they knew{H3045} not, they and their fathers{H1} and the kings{H4428} of Judah;{H3063} and have filled{H4390} this place{H4725} with the blood{H1818} of innocents,{H5355} 5 and have built{H1129} the high places{H1116} of Baal,{H1168} to burn{H8313} their sons{H1121} in the fire{H784} for burnt-offerings{H5930} unto Baal;{H1168} which I commanded{H6680} not, nor spake{H1696} it, neither came{H5927} it into my mind:{H3820} 6 therefore, behold, the days{H3117} come,{H935} saith{H5002} Jehovah,{H3068} that this place{H4725} shall no more be called{H7121} Topheth,{H8612} nor The valley{H1516} of the son{H1121} of Hinnom,{H2011} but The valley{H1516} of Slaughter.{H2028} 7 And I will make void{H1238} the counsel{H6098} of Judah{H3063} and Jerusalem{H3389} in this place;{H4725} and I will cause them to fall{H5307} by the sword{H2719} before{H6440} their enemies,{H341} and by the hand{H3027} of them that seek{H1245} their life:{H5315} and their dead bodies{H5038} will I give{H5414} to be food{H3978} for the birds{H5775} of the heavens,{H8064} and for the beasts{H929} of the earth.{H776} 8 And I will make{H7760} this city{H5892} an astonishment,{H8047} and a hissing;{H8322} every one that passeth{H5674} thereby shall be astonished{H8074} and hiss{H8319} because of all the plagues{H4347} thereof. 9 And I will cause them to eat{H398} the flesh{H1320} of their sons{H1121} and the flesh{H1320} of their daughters;{H1323} and they shall eat{H398} every one{H376} the flesh{H1320} of his friend,{H7453} in the siege{H4692} and in the distress,{H4689} wherewith their enemies,{H341} and they that seek{H1245} their life,{H5315} shall distress{H6693} them. 10 Then shalt thou break{H7665} the bottle{H1228} in the sight{H5869} of the men{H582} that go{H1980} with thee, 11 and shalt say{H559} unto them, Thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts:{H6635} Even so{H3602} will I break{H7665} this people{H5971} and this city,{H5892} as one breaketh{H7665} a potter's{H3335} vessel,{H3627} that cannot{H3201} be made whole again;{H7495} and they shall bury{H6912} in Topheth,{H8612} till there be no place{H4725} to bury.{H6912}
Jer 27:12 : 12 And I spake{H1696} to Zedekiah{H6667} king{H4428} of Judah{H3063} according to all these words,{H1697} saying,{H559} Bring{H935} your necks{H6677} under the yoke{H5923} of the king{H4428} of Babylon,{H894} and serve{H5647} him and his people,{H5971} and live.{H2421}
Jer 28:10-14 : 10 Then Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} took{H3947} the bar{H4133} from off the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah's{H3414} neck,{H6677} and brake{H7665} it. 11 And Hananiah{H2608} spake{H559} in the presence{H5869} of all the people,{H5971} saying,{H559} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} Even so will I break{H7665} the yoke{H5923} of Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon{H894} within two full{H3117} years{H8141} from off the neck{H6677} of all the nations.{H1471} And the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah{H3414} went{H3212} his way.{H1870} 12 Then the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto Jeremiah,{H3414} after{H310} that Hananiah{H2608} the prophet{H5030} had broken{H7665} the bar{H4133} from off the neck{H6677} of the prophet{H5030} Jeremiah,{H3414} saying,{H559} 13 Go,{H1980} and tell{H559} Hananiah,{H2608} saying,{H559} Thus saith{H559} Jehovah:{H3068} Thou hast broken{H7665} the bars{H4133} of wood;{H6086} but thou hast made{H6213} in their stead bars{H4133} of iron.{H1270} 14 For thus saith{H559} Jehovah{H3068} of hosts,{H6635} the God{H430} of Israel:{H3478} I have put{H5414} a yoke{H5923} of iron{H1270} upon the neck{H6677} of all these nations,{H1471} that they may serve{H5647} Nebuchadnezzar{H5019} king{H4428} of Babylon;{H894} and they shall serve{H5647} him: and I have given{H5414} him the beasts{H2416} of the field{H7704} also.
Ezek 4:1-5 : 1 Thou also, son{H1121} of man,{H120} take{H3947} thee a tile,{H3843} and lay{H5414} it before{H6440} thee, and portray{H2710} upon it a city,{H5892} even Jerusalem:{H3389} 2 and lay{H5414} siege{H4692} against it, and build{H1129} forts{H1785} against it, and cast{H8210} up a mound{H5550} against it; set{H5414} camps{H4264} also against it, and plant{H7760} battering rams{H3733} against it round about.{H5439} 3 And take{H3947} thou unto thee an iron{H1270} pan,{H4227} and set{H5414} it for a wall{H7023} of iron{H1270} between thee and the city:{H5892} and set{H3559} thy face{H6440} toward it, and it shall be besieged,{H4692} and thou shalt lay siege{H6696} against it. This shall be a sign{H226} to the house{H1004} of Israel.{H3478} 4 Moreover lie{H7901} thou upon thy left{H8042} side,{H6654} and lay{H7760} the iniquity{H5771} of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} upon it; [according to] the number{H4557} of the days{H3117} that thou shalt lie{H7901} upon it, thou shalt bear{H5375} their iniquity.{H5771} 5 For I have appointed{H5414} the years{H8141} of their iniquity{H5771} to be unto thee a number{H4557} of days,{H3117} even three{H7969} hundred{H3967} and ninety{H8673} days:{H3117} so shalt thou bear{H5375} the iniquity{H5771} of the house{H1004} of Israel.{H3478}
Ezek 12:1-9 : 1 The word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} also came unto me, saying,{H559} 2 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} thou dwellest{H3427} in the midst{H8432} of the rebellious{H4805} house,{H1004} that have eyes{H5869} to see,{H7200} and see{H7200} not, that have ears{H241} to hear,{H8085} and hear{H8085} not; for they are a rebellious{H4805} house.{H1004} 3 Therefore, thou son{H1121} of man,{H120} prepare{H6213} thee stuff{H3627} for removing,{H1473} and remove{H1540} by day{H3119} in their sight;{H5869} and thou shalt remove{H1540} from thy place{H4725} to another{H312} place{H4725} in their sight:{H5869} it may be they will consider,{H7200} though they are a rebellious{H4805} house.{H1004} 4 And thou shalt bring forth{H3318} thy stuff{H3627} by day{H3119} in their sight,{H5869} as stuff{H3627} for removing;{H1473} and thou shalt go forth{H3318} thyself at even{H6153} in their sight,{H5869} as when men go forth{H4161} into exile.{H1473} 5 Dig{H2864} thou through the wall{H7023} in their sight,{H5869} and carry out{H3318} thereby. 6 In their sight{H5869} shalt thou bear{H5375} it upon thy shoulder,{H3802} and carry it forth{H3318} in the dark;{H5939} thou shalt cover{H3680} thy face,{H6440} that thou see{H7200} not the land:{H776} for I have set{H5414} thee for a sign{H4159} unto the house{H1004} of Israel.{H3478} 7 And I did{H6213} so as I was commanded:{H6680} I brought forth{H3318} my stuff{H3627} by day,{H3119} as stuff{H3627} for removing,{H1473} and in the even{H6153} I digged{H2864} through the wall{H7023} with my hand;{H3027} I brought it forth{H3318} in the dark,{H5939} and bare{H5375} it upon my shoulder{H3802} in their sight.{H5869} 8 And in the morning{H1242} came the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} unto me, saying,{H559} 9 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} hath not the house{H1004} of Israel,{H3478} the rebellious{H4805} house,{H1004} said{H559} unto thee, What doest{H6213} thou? 10 Say{H559} thou unto them, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} This burden{H4853} [concerneth] the prince{H5387} in Jerusalem,{H3389} and all the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} among{H8432} whom they are. 11 Say,{H559} I am your sign:{H4159} like as I have done,{H6213} so shall it be done{H6213} unto them; they shall go{H3212} into exile,{H1473} into captivity.{H7628} 12 And the prince{H5387} that is among{H8432} them shall bear{H5375} upon his shoulder{H3802} in the dark,{H5939} and shall go forth:{H3318} they shall dig{H2864} through the wall{H7023} to carry out{H3318} thereby: he shall cover{H3680} his face,{H6440} because{H3282} he shall not see{H7200} the land{H776} with his eyes.{H5869} 13 My net{H7568} also will I spread{H6566} upon him, and he shall be taken{H8610} in my snare;{H4686} and I will bring{H935} him to Babylon{H894} to the land{H776} of the Chaldeans;{H3778} yet shall he not see{H7200} it, though he shall die{H4191} there. 14 And I will scatter{H2219} toward every wind{H7307} all that are round about{H5439} him to help{H5828} him, and all his bands;{H102} and I will draw out{H7324} the sword{H2719} after{H310} them. 15 And they shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah,{H3068} when I shall disperse{H2219} them among the nations,{H1471} and scatter{H6327} them through the countries.{H776} 16 But I will leave{H3498} a few{H4557} men{H582} of them from the sword,{H2719} from the famine,{H7458} and from the pestilence;{H1698} that they may declare{H5608} all their abominations{H8441} among the nations{H1471} whither they come;{H935} and they shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah.{H3068} 17 Moreover the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to me, saying,{H559} 18 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} eat{H398} thy bread{H3899} with quaking,{H7494} and drink{H8354} thy water{H4325} with trembling{H7269} and with fearfulness;{H1674} 19 and say{H559} unto the people{H5971} of the land,{H127} Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah{H136} concerning the inhabitants{H3427} of Jerusalem,{H3389} and the land{H776} of Israel:{H3478} They shall eat{H398} their bread{H3899} with fearfulness,{H1674} and drink{H8354} their water{H4325} in dismay,{H8078} that her land{H776} may be desolate,{H3456} [and despoiled] of all that is therein,{H4393} because of the violence{H2555} of all them that dwell{H3427} therein. 20 And the cities{H5892} that are inhabited{H3427} shall be laid waste,{H2717} and the land{H776} shall be a desolation;{H8077} and ye shall know{H3045} that I am Jehovah.{H3068} 21 And the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came unto me, saying,{H559} 22 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} what is this proverb{H4912} that ye have in the land{H127} of Israel,{H3478} saying,{H559} The days{H3117} are prolonged,{H748} and every vision{H2377} faileth?{H6} 23 Tell{H559} them therefore, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} I will make this proverb{H4912} to cease,{H7673} and they shall no more use it as a proverb{H4911} in Israel;{H3478} but say{H1696} unto them, The days{H3117} are at hand,{H7126} and the fulfilment{H1697} of every vision.{H2377} 24 For there shall be no more any false{H7723} vision{H2377} nor flattering{H2509} divination{H4738} within{H8432} the house{H1004} of Israel.{H3478} 25 For I am Jehovah;{H3068} I will speak,{H1696} and the word{H1697} that I shall speak{H1696} shall be performed;{H6213} it shall be no more deferred:{H4900} for in your days,{H3117} O rebellious{H4805} house,{H1004} will I speak{H1696} the word,{H1697} and will perform{H6213} it, saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069} 26 Again the word{H1697} of Jehovah{H3068} came to me, saying,{H559} 27 Son{H1121} of man,{H120} behold, they of the house{H1004} of Israel{H3478} say,{H559} The vision{H2377} that he seeth{H2372} is for many{H7227} day{H3117} to come, and he prophesieth{H5012} of times{H6256} that are far{H7350} off. 28 Therefore say{H559} unto them, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H3069} There shall none of my words{H1697} be deferred{H4900} any more, but the word{H1697} which I shall speak{H1696} shall be performed,{H6213} saith{H5002} the Lord{H136} Jehovah.{H3069}
Ezek 24:3-9 : 3 And utter{H4911} a parable{H4912} unto the rebellious{H4805} house,{H1004} and say{H559} unto them, Thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah,{H3069} Set on{H8239} the caldron,{H5518} set it on,{H8239} and also pour{H3332} water{H4325} into it: 4 gather{H622} the pieces{H5409} thereof into it, even every good{H2896} piece,{H5409} the thigh,{H3409} and the shoulder;{H3802} fill{H4390} it with the choice{H4005} bones.{H6106} 5 Take{H3947} the choice{H4005} of the flock,{H6629} and also a pile [of wood]{H1754} for the bones{H6106} under [the caldron]; make it boil{H7570} well;{H7571} yea, let the bones{H6106} thereof be boiled{H1310} in the midst{H8432} of it. 6 Wherefore thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} Woe{H188} to the bloody{H1818} city,{H5892} to the caldron{H5518} whose rust{H2457} is therein, and whose rust{H2457} is not gone out{H3318} of it! take out{H3318} of it piece{H5409} after piece;{H5409} No lot{H1486} is fallen{H5307} upon it. 7 For her blood{H1818} is in the midst{H8432} of her; she set{H7760} it upon the bare{H6706} rock;{H5553} she poured{H8210} it not upon the ground,{H776} to cover{H3680} it with dust.{H6083} 8 That it may cause wrath{H2534} to come up{H5927} to take{H5358} vengeance,{H5359} I have set{H5414} her blood{H1818} upon the bare{H6706} rock,{H5553} that it should not be covered.{H3680} 9 Therefore thus saith{H559} the Lord{H136} Jehovah:{H136} Woe{H188} to the bloody{H1818} city!{H5892} I also will make the pile{H4071} great.{H1431} 10 Heap{H7235} on the wood,{H6086} make{H1814} the fire{H784} hot, boil well{H4841} the flesh,{H1320} and make thick{H7543} the broth,{H4841} and let the bones{H6106} be burned.{H2787} 11 Then set{H5975} it empty{H7386} upon the coals{H1513} thereof, that it may be hot,{H3179} and the brass{H5178} thereof may burn,{H2787} and that the filthiness{H2932} of it may be molten{H5413} in it,{H8432} that the rust{H2457} of it may be consumed.{H8552} 12 She hath wearied{H3811} [herself] with toil;{H8383} yet her great{H7227} rust{H2457} goeth not forth{H3318} out of her; her rust{H2457} [goeth not forth] by fire.{H784}
