Verse 23

So Joshua{H3091} took{H3947} the whole land,{H776} according to all that Jehovah{H3068} spake{H1696} unto Moses;{H4872} and Joshua{H3091} gave{H5414} it for an inheritance{H5159} unto Israel{H3478} according to their divisions{H4256} by their tribes.{H7626} And the land{H776} had rest{H8252} from war.{H4421}

Deut 1:38 : 38 Joshua{H3091} the son{H1121} of Nun,{H5126} who standeth{H5975} before{H6440} thee, he shall go in{H935} thither: encourage{H2388} thou him; for he shall cause Israel{H3478} to inherit{H5157} it.

Deut 12:9-9 : 9 for ye are not as yet come{H935} to the rest{H4496} and to the inheritance,{H5159} which Jehovah{H3068} thy God{H430} giveth{H5414} thee. 10 But when ye go over{H5674} the Jordan,{H3383} and dwell{H3427} in the land{H776} which Jehovah{H3068} your God{H430} causeth you to inherit,{H5157} and he giveth you rest{H5117} from all your enemies{H341} round about,{H5439} so that ye dwell{H3427} in safety;{H983}
