Se, en dag kommer for Herren når ditt bytte blir fordelt i din midte.

Behold, a day is coming for the Lord, when your plunder will be divided in your midst.

Jeg skal samle alle folkene mot Jerusalem til krig. Byen skal bli inntatt, husene plyndret, og kvinnene utsatt for overgrep. Halvparten av byen skal føres bort i fangenskap, men resten av folket skal ikke bli utryddet fra byen.

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle, and the city will be captured, the houses will be plundered, and the women violated. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.

Da skal Herren gå ut og kjempe mot disse folkene som på slagets dag.

Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as He fights in a day of battle.

Den dagen skal hans føtter stå på Oljeberget, som ligger øst for Jerusalem. Oljeberget skal revne fra øst til vest og danne en stor dal. En halvdel av fjellet skal flytte seg mot nord, og den andre halvdelen mot sør.

On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which lies before Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a very great valley, so that half of the mountain will move northward and the other half southward.

Dere skal flykte gjennom dalen ved mine fjell, for dalen ved fjellene skal nå til Asal. Dere skal flykte slik dere flyktet fra jordskjelvet i kong Ussias tid i Juda. Da skal Herren, min Gud, komme, og alle de hellige skal være med ham.

You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley between the mountains will reach to Azal. You will flee as you fled because of the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.

Den dagen skal det ikke være lys, de dyrebare himmellys skal svinne.

On that day, there will be no light; the precious lights will diminish and freeze.

Det skal bli en enestående dag, kjent bare av Herren, når det ikke blir dag og natt. Men om kvelden skal det bli lys.

It will be a unique day—known only to the Lord—not day nor night, but at evening time there will be light.

Den dagen skal levende vann strømme ut fra Jerusalem, halvparten mot østlige havet og halvparten mot vestlige havet, både om sommeren og vinteren.

On that day, living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half toward the western sea. It will continue in both summer and winter.

Herren skal være konge over hele jorden. Den dagen skal Herren være én og hans navn ett.

The Lord will be King over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one, and His name one.

Hele landet, fra Geba til Rimmon sør for Jerusalem, skal bli som Araba. Men Jerusalem skal være høyt og bli på sin plass, fra Benjamin-porten til første portens sted, helt til hjørneporten og fra Hananel-tårnet til kongens vinpresser.

The whole land will be transformed like the plain of the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

Folk skal bo i byen, og den skal aldri mer bli utslettet. Jerusalem skal bo trygt.

And people will live in it, and there will no longer be any curse of destruction. Jerusalem will dwell in security.

Dette er plagen Herren skal slå alle folkene med som har kjempet mot Jerusalem: Deres kjøtt skal råtne mens de står på føttene. Øynene skal råtne i sine huler, og tungen i munnen.

This will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

Den dagen skal det komme en stor forvirring fra Herren blant dem. De vil gripe tak i hverandres hender, og hånden den ene skal være hevet mot den andre.

On that day, a great panic from the Lord will come upon them. Each will seize the hand of his neighbor, and they will attack one another.

Judah skal også kjempe i Jerusalem, og rikdommen fra alle omkringliggende folkeslag skal samles inn, gullet, sølvet og klærne i stort mangfold.

Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations—gold, silver, and clothing—will be gathered in great abundance.

Slik skal også plagen være som rammer hesten, muldyret, kamelen, eselet, og alle dyrene i leirene, den samme plagen.

A similar plague will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the animals in the camps.

Alle de som er igjen av de folkene som kom mot Jerusalem, skal årlig dra opp for å tilbe kongen, Herren over hærskarene, og feire løvhyttefesten.

Then all who survive from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

Og det skal skje: Om noen av jordens folk ikke drar opp til Jerusalem for å tilbe kongen, Herren over hærskarene, skal det ikke komme regn over dem.

If any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, they will have no rain.

Hvis Egypts slekt ikke drar opp og kommer, skal plagen ramme dem som Herren skal straffe folkene med, de som ikke drar opp for å feire løvhyttefesten.

If the family of Egypt does not go up and come, they too will receive the plague that the Lord will strike on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

På den dagen skal det stå «Hellig for Herren» på hestenes bjeller, og grytene i Herrens hus skal være som offerskålene foran alteret.

On that day, the bells of the horses will be inscribed with 'Holy to the Lord,' and the pots in the house of the Lord will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar.

Hver gryte i Jerusalem og Juda skal være hellig for Herren over hærskarene. Alle de som ofrer, skal komme og bruke dem til å koke i. På den dagen skal det ikke mer være kanaanitt i Herrens hærskarers hus.

On that day, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord of Hosts. All who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And there will no longer be any Canaanite in the house of the Lord of Hosts on that day.
