Fortell om hans herlighet blant folkeslagene, Hans underfulle gjerninger blant alle folk.

Declare his glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.

For stor er Herren, og verd å prises høyt: Han er å frykte over alle guder.

For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods.

For alle folkeslagenes guder er avguder; Men Herren skapte himmelen.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols; But Jehovah made the heavens.

Ære og herlighet er foran ham: Styrke og skjønnhet er i hans helligdom.

Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Fortell blant folkeslagene: Herren regjerer. Verden er grunnfestet, den kan ikke rokkes: Han vil dømme folkene rettferdig.

Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved: He will judge the peoples with equity.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

For Herren, for han kommer, For han kommer for å dømme jorden: Han vil dømme verden med rettferdighet, Og folkene med sin sannhet.
