Herren har gjort sin frelse kjent; Hans rettferdighet har han åpenbart for alle folkeslag.

Jehovah hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the nations.

Han har husket sin godhet og trofasthet mot Israels hus; Alle jordens ender har sett vår Guds frelse.

He hath remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all the earth: Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

Syng lovsang for Herren med harpe; Med harpe og vakker melodi.

Sing praises unto Jehovah with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody.

Med trompeter og hornets klang, rop av glede for kongen, Herren.

With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

La havet bruse og alt som fyller det; Verden og de som bor der.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein;

La elvene klappe i hendene; La fjellene synge av glede sammen.

Let the floods clap their hands; Let the hills sing for joy together

For Herren, for han kommer for å dømme jorden; Han vil dømme verden med rettferdighet og folkene med rettferdighet.

Before Jehovah; for he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.
