Verse 20

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

1 Cor 2:4 : 4 And in my preaching there were no honeyed words of wisdom, but I was dependent on the power of the Spirit to make it clear to you:
2 Cor 10:4-5 : 4 (For the arms with which we are fighting are not those of the flesh, but are strong before God for the destruction of high places); 5 Putting an end to reasonings, and every high thing which is lifted up against the knowledge of God, and causing every thought to come under the authority of Christ;
1 Thess 1:5 : 5 Because our good news came to you, not in word only, but in power, and in the Holy Spirit, so that you were completely certain of it; even as you saw what our behaviour to you was like from our love to you.
Rom 14:17 : 17 For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Rom 1:16 : 16 For I have no feeling of shame about the good news, because it is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek.
Rom 15:19 : 19 By signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have given all the good news of Christ;
1 Cor 1:24 : 24 But to those of God's selection, Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power and the wisdom of God.
