Verse 2

Because you have in mind the orders we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

Ezek 3:17 : 17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the children of Israel: so give ear to the word of my mouth, and give them word from me of their danger.
Matt 28:20 : 20 Teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world.
1 Cor 9:21 : 21 To those without the law I was as one without the law, not as being without law to God, but as under law to Christ, so that I might give the good news to those without the law.
2 Thess 3:6 : 6 Now we give you orders, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from all those whose behaviour is not well ordered and in harmony with the teaching which they had from us.
2 Thess 3:10 : 10 For even when we were with you we gave you orders, saying, If any man does no work, let him not have food.
