Verse 18

In everything give praise: for this is the purpose of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Eph 5:20 : 20 Giving praise at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;
Phil 4:6 : 6 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
Col 3:17 : 17 And whatever you do, in word or in act, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving praise to God the Father through him.
Heb 13:15 : 15 Let us then make offerings of praise to God at all times through him, that is to say, the fruit of lips giving witness to his name.
1 Pet 2:15 : 15 Because it is God's pleasure that foolish and narrow-minded men may be put to shame by your good behaviour:
1 Pet 4:2 : 2 So that you may give the rest of your lives in the flesh, not to the desires of men, but to the purpose of God.

1 John 2:17 : 17 And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever.
