Verse 3

And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and overcame it.

Num 13:21 : 21 So they went up and got a view of the land, from the waste land of Zin to Rehob, on the way to Hamath.
Num 34:8 : 8 And from Mount Hor the line will go in the direction of Hamath; the farthest point of it will be at Zedad:

And this is the damage Hadad did: he was cruel to Israel while he was ruler over Edom.
