We are sinners, acting wrongly and doing evil; we have gone against you, turning away from your orders and from your laws:

Ezra 9:6 : 6 I said, O my God, shame keeps me from lifting up my face to you, my God: for our sins are increased higher than our heads and our evil-doing has come up to heaven.
Neh 1:6-8 : 6 Let your ear now take note and let your eyes be open, so that you may give ear to the prayer of your servant, which I make before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel, your servants, while I put before you the sins of the children of Israel, which we have done against you: truly, I and my father's people are sinners. 7 We have done great wrong against you, and have not kept the orders, the rules, and the decisions, which you gave to your servant Moses. 8 Keep in mind, O Lord, the order you gave your servant Moses, saying, If you do wrong I will send you wandering among the peoples:
Neh 9:33-34 : 33 But still, you have been in the right in everything which has come on us; you have been true to us, but we have done evil: 34 And our kings, our rulers, our priests, and our fathers have not kept your law or given attention to your orders and your witness, with which you gave witness against them.
Ps 18:21 : 21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not been turned away in sin from my God.
