Verse 5

On the far side of Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses gave the people this law, saying,

• Deut 31:9 : 9 Then Moses put all this law in writing, and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who take up the ark of the Lord's agreement, and to all the responsible men of Israel.
• Deut 32:46 : 46 Moses said to them, Let the words which I have said to you today go deep into your hearts, and give orders to your children to do every word of this law.
