Verse 26

Then from the waste land of Kedemoth I sent representatives to Sihon, king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying,

Josh 13:18 : 18 And Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;
Josh 21:37 : 37 Kedemoth and Mephaath with their grass-lands, four towns.
Esth 9:30 : 30 And he sent letters to all the Jews in the hundred and twenty-seven divisions of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with true words of peace,
Matt 10:12-15 : 12 And when you go in, say, May peace be on this house. 13 And if the house is good enough, let your peace come on it: but if not, let your peace come back to you. 14 And whoever will not take you in, or give ear to your words, when you go out from that house or that town, put off its dust from your feet. 15 Truly I say to you, It will be better for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of God's judging than for that town.
Luke 10:5-6 : 5 And whenever you go into a house, first say, Peace be to this house. 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will be with him: but if not, it will come back to you again.
Luke 10:10-12 : 10 But if you go into a town where they will not have you, go out into the streets of it and say, 11 Even the dust of your town, which is on our feet, we put off as a witness against you; but be certain of this, that the kingdom of God is near. 12 I say to you, It will be better in that day for Sodom than for that town.
Deut 20:10-11 : 10 When you come to a town, before attacking it, make an offer of peace. 11 And if it gives you back an answer of peace, opening its doors to you, then all the people in it may be put to forced work as your servants.
