Verse 20

And there he put up an altar, naming it El, the God of Israel.

Gen 8:20 : 20 And Noah made an altar to the Lord, and from every clean beast and bird he made burned offerings on the altar.
Gen 12:7-8 : 7 And the Lord came to Abram, and said, I will give all this land to your seed; then Abram made an altar there to the Lord who had let himself be seen by him. 8 And moving on from there to the mountain on the east of Beth-el, he put up his tent, having Beth-el on the west and Ai on the east: and there he made an altar and gave worship to the name of the Lord.
Gen 13:18 : 18 And Abram, moving his tent, came and made his living-place by the holy tree of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and made an altar there to the Lord.
Gen 21:33 : 33 And Abraham, after planting a holy tree in Beer-sheba, gave worship to the name of the Lord, the Eternal God.
Gen 32:28 : 28 And he said, Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel: for in your fight with God and with men you have overcome.
Gen 35:7 : 7 And there he made an altar, naming the place El-beth-el: because it was there he had the vision of God when he was in flight from his brother.
