Verse 23

And Judah said, Let her keep the things, so that we may not be shamed; I sent the young goat, but you did not see the woman.

2 Sam 12:9 : 9 Why then have you had no respect for the word of the Lord, doing what is evil in his eyes? You have put Uriah the Hittite to death with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife; you have put him to death with the sword of the children of Ammon.
Prov 6:33 : 33 Wounds will be his and loss of honour, and his shame may not be washed away.
Rom 6:21 : 21 What fruit had you at that time in the things which are now a shame to you? for the end of such things is death.
