Verse 31

We may well go in fear of falling into the hands of the living God.

Isa 33:14 : 14 The sinners in Zion are full of fear; the haters of God are shaking with wonder. Who among us may keep his place before the burning fire? who among us may see the eternal burnings?
Matt 10:28 : 28 And have no fear of those who put to death the body, but are not able to put to death the soul. But have fear of him who has power to give soul and body to destruction in hell.
Luke 12:5 : 5 But I will make clear to you of whom you are to be in fear: of him who after death has power to send you to hell; yes, truly I say, Have fear of him.
Heb 12:29 : 29 For our God is an all-burning fire.
