Verse 14

When you are not certain what will take place tomorrow. What is your life? It is a mist, which is seen for a little time and then is gone.

Ps 102:3 : 3 My days are wasted like smoke, and my bones are burned up as in a fire.
1 Pet 1:24 : 24 For it is said, All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the grass. The grass becomes dry and the flower dead:
Ps 39:5 : 5 You have made my days no longer than a hand's measure; and my years are nothing in your eyes; truly, every man is but a breath. (Selah.)
Job 7:6-7 : 6 My days go quicker than the cloth-worker's thread, and come to an end without hope. 7 O, keep in mind that my life is wind: my eye will never again see good.
Job 14:1-2 : 1 As for man, the son of woman, his days are short and full of trouble. 2 He comes out like a flower, and is cut down: he goes in flight like a shade, and is never seen again.
1 John 2:17 : 17 And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever.
Job 9:25-26 : 25 My days go quicker than a post-runner: they go in flight, they see no good. 26 They go rushing on like reed-boats, like an eagle dropping suddenly on its food.
Jas 1:10 : 10 But the man of wealth, that he is made low; because like the flower of the grass he will come to his end.
1 Pet 4:7 : 7 But the end of all things is near: so be serious in your behaviour and keep on the watch with prayer;
Ps 89:47 : 47 See how short my time is; why have you made all men for no purpose?
