Verse 9

The Lord has said, Have no false hopes, saying to yourselves, The Chaldaeans will go away from us: for they will not go away.

Obad 1:3 : 3 You have been tricked by the pride of your heart, O you whose living-place is in the cracks of the rock, whose house is high up; who has said in his heart, Who will make me come down to earth?
Matt 24:4-5 : 4 And Jesus said to them in answer, Take care that you are not tricked. 5 For people will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and a number will be turned from the true way through them.
Eph 5:6 : 6 Do not be turned from the right way by foolish words; for because of these things the punishment of God comes on those who do not put themselves under him.
