Verse 1

And Eliphaz the Temanite made answer and said,

• Job 2:11 : 11 And Job's three friends had word of all this evil which had come on him. And they came every one from his place, Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. So they came together to a meeting-place, in order that they might go and make clear to Job their grief for him, and give him comfort.
• Job 4:1 : 1 And Eliphaz the Temanite made answer and said,
• Job 22:1 : 1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite made answer and said,
• Job 42:7 : 7 And it came about, after he had said these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, I am very angry with you and your two friends, because you have not said what is right about me, as my servant Job has.
• Job 42:9 : 9 And Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, went and did as the Lord had said. And the Lord gave ear to Job.
