Verse 17

How may a hater of right be a ruler? and will you say that the upright Ruler of all is evil?

2 Sam 23:3 : 3 The God of Israel said, the word of the Rock of Israel came to me: When an upright king is ruling over men, when he is ruling in the fear of God,
Job 40:8 : 8 Let them be covered together in the dust; let their faces be dark in the secret place of the underworld.
Gen 18:25 : 25 Let such a thing be far from you, to put the upright to death with the sinner: will not the judge of all the earth do right?
2 Sam 19:21 : 21 But Abishai, the son of Zeruiah, said, Is not death the right fate for Shimei, because he has been cursing the one marked by the holy oil?
Job 1:22 : 22 In all this Job did no sin, and did not say that God's acts were foolish.
Rom 3:5-7 : 5 But if the righteousness of God is supported by our wrongdoing what is to be said? is it wrong for God to be angry (as men may say)? 6 In no way: because if it is so, how is God able to be the judge of all the world? 7 But if, because I am untrue, God being seen to be true gets more glory, why am I to be judged as a sinner?
Rom 9:14 : 14 What may we say then? is God not upright? let it not be said.
