Verse 1

Now Joshua was old and full of years; and the Lord said to him, You are old and full of years, and there is still very much land to be taken.

Josh 14:10 : 10 And now, as you see, the Lord has kept me safe these forty-five years, from the time when the Lord said this to Moses, while Israel was wandering in the waste land: and now I am eighty-five years old.
Deut 31:3 : 3 The Lord your God, he will go over before you; he will send destruction on all those nations, and you will take their land as your heritage: and Joshua will go over at your head as the Lord has said.
Gen 18:11 : 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were very old, and Sarah was past the time for giving birth.
