But a certain man of Samaria, journeying that way, came where he was, and when he saw him, he was moved with pity for him,

And Jeremiah did so. 13 So pulling Jeremiah up with the cords they got him out of the water-hole: and Jeremiah was kept in the place of the armed watchmen.
