Verse 27

And he took a cup and, having given praise, he gave it to them, saying,

Ps 116:13 : 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and give praise to the name of the Lord.
Song 5:1 : 1 I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; to take my myrrh with my spice; my wax with my honey; my wine with my milk. Take meat, O friends; take wine, yes, be overcome with love.
Song 7:9 : 9 And the roof of your mouth like good wine flowing down smoothly for my loved one, moving gently over my lips and my teeth.
Isa 25:6 : 6 And in this mountain will the Lord of armies make for all peoples a feast of good things, a feast of wines long stored, of good things sweet to the taste, of wines long kept and tested.
